Recently, Leon has been busy rushing to record his album. The other day he filmed an MV for his new song <<1 vs. 1>>. Each time Leon films an MV, there are leading pretty girls. Usually Leon favors Korean beauties, but this time he changes taste. He hired a Japanese model with a pretty face and a good figure named CHI.HO to be the lead actress. Leon thinks she looks like Sheila Chin (RTHK DJ), so he calls her the pirated version of Sheila Chin.
On the day filming, CHI.HO wore two sexy clothing. One of them was a bikini. Because there was only a piece of covering and a majority of the crew was men, CHI.HO appeared to be uncomfortable. She had NGs on many simple shots. In the end, Leon personally explained the movements and expressions. Under his requests, she smoothly completed the filming.
Other than a sexy Japanese performance in the MV, Leon's image was quite special. He wore a body of lemon yellow clothing which was eye-catching. He also made his face dark, drew thick eyebrows, and a flat combover. This image was rare to see. Leon always request rigorously, so this MV for the new song won't be an exception. It is reported that this MV and its backgrounds cost HK$100,000s. Plus the productions and 24 hour filming of the MV, it cost a total of HK$1 million.
Leon said, "Before filming this MV, I was really nervous because originally it was supposed to be filmed in Thailand for three days. Because of work relations, there wasn't time to go. In the end, it was changed to film in HK and three days was changed to a day to complete it. The crew had to change 6 backgrounds in a day, so I have to thank them because they knew this MV definitely cannot go overtime. Everyone had to desperately work."
Moreover, this time filming an MV Leon also had an important task. He is a spokesperson for a Japanese electric appliance, so a piece of the MV will be edited into an advertisement.

woah that is a pretty shocking image! think they're trying to get a futuristic look with the hair and clothes like in A.I. there's probably gonna be lots of special effects added in too so should look better than the pics...and yeah, that model ain't very pretty :P
oh anyone listen to the rthk program sheila presents? her co-host is bound to bring the subject up :D

Also, the pics are straight from the camera... no CG, hasn't been touched up at all. So the finished product will look much more high-tech and much better quality.

Hey, from the news we've been reading these few days, it sounds like Leon's only working on the one MV... honestly, I wouldn't be too happy if 1:1 was the only MV. The VCDs have been pretty disappointing, there's only been like one real MV, and the rest either he's not even in or it's edited from a movie. And "the making of" has been missing in the last couple of albums.
Btw, if when u guys entered www.amusic.hk the mando clip wasn't up, well it's up now, I think the mando version sounds better sorta... hehe... but I very like the canto version anyway. But the MV looks so so weird... I thought from the pics that it just looked weird... but they're acting weird as well. :unsure:

LOL I know! Hoping Leon didn't direct this MV but the reports say he shouted 'cut' so...:unsure:

If I'm not mistaken, many news said he directed this MV himself. But I still don't see the connection with this MV & Panasonic? :blink:
If that's the only MV, make sure the 18 tracks aren't repeated song with Canto & Mando version or else I'm sure there will plenty of complaints!!!
But till now, quite sure 1:1 will have 2 version, so we only have 17 tracks!!

"Together" is another mandarin song turned into a cantonese track...so 16 i guess. sigh. hope this number does not decrease further

Oh Quad, u actually think he's gonna sing the mando version of Together... that'll be so good. That other song he sang in Beijing, I think there's 2 versions of that too... so 15 tracks... hehe.
I know he didn't say the 18 tracks were diff versions, but just imagine the 18 were all new, so the other versions are extras on top of the 18 songs... how many tracks will be end up getting... 23??? That's kinda a bit too much. Maybe we'll get more than 10 new songs, but not 18 for sure. Maybe 12, like If I Can See U Again was 12 tracks.

to be honest i don't enjoy listening to the same song twice while going through an album :X i understand it is for business purposes, but personally i wish it's either canto or mando; preferably canto. but since he said it was both himself, i hope there would be some canto-only songs and mandarin-only songs...
