Leon Lai Fumes Over Questions about Losing Money Over Movie
MING PAO - Leon Lai was fuming after he was questioned by reporters about his alleged money woes after financing his latest movie "Leaving Me Loving You." He questioned back the reporters, asking about their sources for this information. The singer-actor went on to say that the turnout for "Leaving" was poorer than expected because of same day releases at the theatres and for VCDs. Leon added that promotional efforts were weak for Europe and North America. This time, he says, it is a collaboration among friends and he would not allow something like this to hurt his wallet. Leon emphasized he didn't care reporters were asking, because he will admit to the truth.
