Title: Leon, Lam Kin-Ngok, Andy Lau Start New Company?
HKVP Radio News - March 23, 2004 08:01 PM (GMT)

Rumour has it that Leon Lai is forming a new entertainment company with Lam Kin-Ngok, and is trying to pull Andy Lau as a partner. At a promotional event two nights ago, Leon said it's not time to make a response yet, "I don't have a response, and we don't see anything [happening] yet. For example if there was a tree with pears and apples that weren't ripe yet but fell from the tree, they must be sour, and there are no advantages. Just have my manager Chan Sin-Zhi respond". Is Leon interested in starting an entertainment form? He says the time isn't right yet and there isn't anything he can respond to. Being smooth and crisp is Hong Kong's work attitude. And what about Sony? Leon says we shouldn't ask him anything, right now the soundtrack for Leaving Me Loving You is selling quite well.

i hope it happens! maybe then they can take on EEG as competition and actually bring in talented newcomers like Warner is doing

Can't guarantee the ability of the newcomers but I guess the main difference to EEG is that will they won't be built on hype.

http://pub38.bravenet.com/forum/3211388192/fetch/267780/There were rumours that Peter Lam would be cooperating with Leon and Andy Lau in setting up a company. Peter Lam admitted that he had been discussing with Leon's manager, Joe Chan, recently, and they would be cooperating in Leon's movie and concert. As for setting up of recording company, Peter Lam stressed that it was not settled yet, and they had not even discussed the amount. In short, he was interested in any business that could earn profits. However, he admitted that Leon would be a very good cooperating partner, and he would discuss with Leon soon.
