Have you heard Stefanie Sun's New Album THE MOMENT

I am still trying to locate a site to sample her music. Does anyone know any good sites?

Her voice is quite different and has a certain richness to it. Almost like a junior version of Sandy Lam. Does anyone like her here ?

I listened to a few of Stefanie's past songs and like most other Taiwanese singers, she has a great voice but still haven't found a song I like of hers - perhaps you can help Sandra? I also think she's one of those cute and sweet type of girl without being sickening and I love her smile!

I am not familiar with uploading songs. When I find out, I'll email you, Gav. Thanks for the offer.

She is actually a Singaporean who won a Taiwanese award. I managed to find her very pretty song The Moment from chinamp3.com but the other songs are all in 15 second bits or so and is hard to judge. But she sounds like she has a good voice, better than Karen Mok, Gigi Leung, or even Kelly Chan (Now, whose toes did I just step on ?? ).

Thost toes would be mine actually! Only joking :P I like a lot of Gigi's songs but no arguement that Stef has a much better voice than hers. And Karen??? Can she honestly sing

GaV - October 1, 2003 09:12 AM (GMT)
i like gigi and kelly :P , havent heard much of Karen's stuff, what i've heard..it's er... dunno how to describe it...not too fond of her singing though,

Sandra: do you use any chat programs? coz i could easily send you the songs via those chat programs easily. :)

*raise hand* I hear of that ablum already. Actually I hear mainly all of Stefanie's ablums. She is such a great singer, and soo talented also. Her style is soo different from other singers, that's one of the reason I like about her. Is soo unique, etc... The Moment Have old and new songs... of course her old songs are great, actually all of her songs in each ablums are well done. ^_^ The new songs in this ablum is good too ^_^ I recommend anyone to get it, if they are looking for a different type of style. :P

Finally listened to the CD and it is great! Her voice is really captivating and just makes any song sound nice. I highly recommend the song 'Meeting' (Yu Geen), it's the mandrin version of the theme song of 'Turn Left, Turn Right' (Gigi Leung sings the canto version). The kind of song I usually compose in my head when I'm daydreaming :)
It won Best Original Song at the Golden Horse Awards last time and it's composed by Chet Lam (quadshock will be happy :D).
