Title: Did Love Generation Hong Kong impress you ?

I think the sound track for this movie is fabulous. I love all the interludes. Does anyone know which album would have all these numbers ?
My kids certainly enjoy the parts by Peace. They thought the interaction was fun.
I don't think this movie was as good as his other romantic comedies but I certainly enjoy watching Mark his composer. I would like to buy one of those glass apples.
I think Carina Lau did an ample job here but not as good as when she was in He's a Woman, She's a Man with Leslie Cheung. I like to see her playing the bitchy role better. This one is too docile for her.
I like the NGs better than the movie.
Good moments of Leon : when he has his glasses on, when they were lining up for sushi, when he hugged Mark for comfort after Maggie broke up with him. His smirking away at the negotiation table with the Japanese, his stripping his shirt in the middle of Tokyo, his asking Maggie to treat him this time at the noodle shop, his getting flabbergasted when he realized Maggie's boyfriend was Peace. Well, he always look cool if he drives a Porsche - I suppose that is Mark's car.

There were NGs??? My VCD doesn't have them, are they only on the DVD version?
I think this film was one of those 'If Leon wasn't in it, I wouldn't really bother watching it' type. It had some cute & funny scenes but just a light-hearted film on the whole.
The opening song can be found on the 'I Love You Very Much' EP and the end song is on the 'If I Can See You Again' album.
Favourite scenes: Leon walking around in a white vest (sorry for the shallowness :P) and yeah, it was funny when he was crying while hugging Mark! And he looks rather nice in those type of glasses like in Everyday Is Valentine during that clothes sale.

Yes, only on the DVD has them. Not a whole lot but if you are going to rent them at a store again.
Thanks for the info on soundtrack. I am bidding them on ebay now. Hope I could get it.

Hi Diana, haven't seen the NG bit but the song should be either of these two; No Need To Say It Twice or I Didn't Lie To You, hope this helps :)
And speaking of those glasses, plenty of chance to see him wearing them in IA3 - YEAH!!! :D

oh i just watched the out-takes, Leon's so cuuuuuuuute! but wonder if Lee Ann got really annoyed with him during that last scene? lost count of how many times they NG! and they kissed! always edit out the nice stuff don't they? <_<
and i can now confirm that the song is "I Did Not Lie To You".
GaV - November 25, 2003 03:38 AM (GMT)
oh maaan why did they edit that bit out?
its what the ending needed as well...hah!
eternalcandle - November 25, 2003 10:35 PM (GMT)

it's one of the extras on the dvd version, there's none on the vcd which was surprising coz wong jing always includes them (except this).
