I have updated my siggy... is it ok, because it isn't as long as when I had the piccies... it has just added the other lifers onto the side of Mark... on the same line?!?!

Not arguin... just saying... I have had all of them on another message board and it doesn't slow them down.. in fact the only thing that slows it down is the computer you are using... I know that because my friend works with computers and he told me that nothing slows them down... its the computer you are using that usually needs a reboot if it is all slow!

Anyway... there we go!

Well ive noticed on here before when people had real big sigs that it was slowing the computers welll down and it wasnt just on mine, i had a few complaints

I also am a wiz with computers and signatures can contribute to slow loading of pages and that is a fact. That is why Official have so many problems, because there is too much info trying to get through but most of that is down to siggy's and not what they are actually posting.

Well Shanesvoice is right. on the official message boards the signature limit is 5 lines because they say it makes the servers slow and i have noticed it on here also.
if it didnt make the message boards slow then why do the mods of the official boards make that rule

If you click on a page to open, it takes blinking ages if there is piccies on it to download. So having big piccies in your siggy will slow it down.

We accept pics as people post now and again. But siggy's are there everytime you post.

If it is too big it makes the server slow. If it is too big, it will not make you notice the siggy more, it will make you notice on how slow the server is more. ;)
