After last week's shock declaration of Love, Sally thought Ian's passion had cooled - especially as she made it clear she wouldn't risk her marriage for a quick fling with the boss.
But Ian still has the hots for Sally. This week, he tells her he can't cope being around her every day, feeling the way he does - so she'll have to leave!
'He says he's in love with her and can't work with her unless she feels the same way,' says Sally Whittaker , who plays Sally. 'At one point he threatens to fire her. Sally's mortified and tells him what he's doing is sexual harassment. But Ian calls her bluff and tells her to take him to court. Sally doesn't want that and ends up feeling awful.
'Reading between the lines, you can see Ian's a womaniser and he's done it before. His wife probably stays with him out of convenience more than anything else.'
Ian tries to appeal to Sally's desire for wealth and status, promising to give her the kind of life she longs for. 'She is tempted, because Ian is everything she's ever wanted,' reveals Sally.
'He's rich, powerful and far more of a go-better than Kevin will ever be.'
It wouldn't be the first time Sally's played away. A few year ago, she left Kevin for charmer Greg Kelly, who promised to take her away from her domestic drudgery. But, this time, Sally is strong and quits her job.
'She goes home ready to tell Kevin, but when the girls start talkin excitedly about the holiday they've booked, she finds it a struggle to get the words out,' says Sally. 'She just can't bring herself to tell the girls that they can no longer afford it...'
Sally Admits she was taken aback when the storyline was suggested to the cast.
'I was shocked after everything Sally's been through,' she admits. 'But i think it's a good storyline. There are so many women working in male-dominated environments who are manipulated into doing things they don't want to - whether it's an affair or something else.
'But if i were Sally, i'd tell Ian to take a running jump. I'd kick him where it hurts. go home and tell my husband!'
