Title: Now Simons Mr Nazi
Description: Westlife

ShanesVoice - November 24, 2003 01:33 PM (GMT)
WESTLIFE have compared their record label boss SIMON COWELL to ADOLF HITLER.

The Irish lads reckon the Pop Idol judge dubbed Mr Nasty bullied them into releasing a cover of the soppy BARRY MANILOW classic Mandy as a single.

I wouldn’t complain too much, boys. After all, the track did hit No1 yesterday.

The group’s NICKY BYRNE said: “Simon said our album was missing that one big song, the one that will reach out to both housewives and teenagers.

“He recommended Mandy and we went back into the studio and did it. Hands up, though — it worked out brilliantly, Simon was right. He has got a nasty streak to him though and I don’t think he likes the word compromise.

“We’ve experienced that first-hand over the last five years.

“I think we’re the only people who have managed to get around him the odd time.”

Unfortunately for the band, Nicky’s tactful remarks were all for nothing — once BRYAN “who ate all the pies?” McFADDEN opened his mouth and let his belly rumble.

He said: “Simon’s like, erm, Hitler.”

Sadly it is true. I experienced it more often than I would have liked too.
That's the greatest problem about generalization. But I don't think that I or other german persons have to put up with insults.
And I'm really glad that such behavior seems to get more and more an exception.

Topic now again open

I know, 1 guy thought he could talk 2 me 4 5 mins n then he tried opening my belt, well I slapped him n made him the laughingstock ;)

bittersweet me - December 30, 2003 10:47 AM (GMT)
Heya! :)

wo. nice person, he seems. how do some people get such ideas? well done by the way ;)

Ninsi - December 30, 2003 10:55 AM (GMT)
Thanx, but that was by the time I was used to take care of myself ;) Even tho my friends tried to do it for me :P

bittersweet me - December 30, 2003 10:58 AM (GMT)
Sometimes it's good when ther's someone around who does.

I used to have big problems to take care for myself and it was a time when there was no one else.

Ninsi - December 30, 2003 11:00 AM (GMT)
well, it can also get to much, at one point my friends freaked if someone asked if I wanted to try a cigaret, as if I couldnt say no myself. I have never n will never try smoking ;)

bittersweet me - December 30, 2003 11:08 AM (GMT)
Yeah, that's true about being overprotective.
Good choice about not smoking, though I tried. But only because I wanted. To me I have to try most of the things I won't to talk about. Surely this has its limits.

Ninsi - December 30, 2003 11:11 AM (GMT)
Lol I think my friends overprotection came from some of them experimenting with drugs, n fearing I'd get into that too ;)

bittersweet me - December 30, 2003 11:22 AM (GMT)
So for them it's the best thing they can do, bless them. It doesn't mean they have no trust.

Ninsi - December 30, 2003 11:24 AM (GMT)
Nahh, it just means they care 4 me n r true friends. Coz instead of trying 2 get me to try what they try, they try n protect me from it ;)

bittersweet me - December 30, 2003 11:36 AM (GMT)
Yeah that's what I think.

Ninsi - December 30, 2003 11:37 AM (GMT)
they where ALWAYS there when i needed them :D

bittersweet me - December 30, 2003 11:53 AM (GMT)
Good friends, so keep them close :D

Ninsi - December 30, 2003 12:01 PM (GMT)
Well, 2 b honest, we hardly ever talk anymore, but I can call them whenever I need to n vice versa

bittersweet me - December 30, 2003 12:11 PM (GMT)
Thinking about it this is all you need to know, isn't it?

Ninsi - December 30, 2003 12:14 PM (GMT)
Yeah, that's what makes them TRUE friends, i dont have to have regular contact coz we know we got each other ;)

bittersweet me - December 30, 2003 12:22 PM (GMT)
Those bonds give you security. Human being's a social beast at last ;)

Ninsi - December 30, 2003 12:30 PM (GMT)
 Nuttear, but ur rite :P
