Gorgeous Hollyoaks star Jodi Albert is happy to wear her heart on her
sleeve when it comes to her boyfriend, Westlife hunk Kian Egan.
She admits "we are taking it day by day but we are quite crazy about
each other and both very happy" The lovestruck couple share a similar
sense of humour since jodi's grandmother maureen hails from
Limerick. "We definitely have a similar sense of humour because both
of us being irish"" Kian is that kind of guy"
It was on the pop circuit that she first set eyes on sligo heart
throb Kian some years ago. The experience offered her the opportunity
to meet kian and the dormant romantic flame was re ignited when they
were reunited earlier this year. It was perfect timing as jodie had
just broken up with hollyoaks co star philip oliver whio
plays "tinhead".
Meanwhile kian has been stung by several kiss and tell exposes. The
couple were snapped on holiday in sunny Barbados. "we were told that
there were pictures of us in the press taken while we were swimming"
says jodi. "we just laughed" " Anyway i was having such a good time
over there i didn t really care""it was so beautiful and the people
were so friendly. It was the perfect holiday-we were scuba diving and
swimming with turtles"
Since returning home, Jodi and Kian have taken to the water in a big
way. "Kian is going through a bit of a phase as a surfer" reveals
jodi.He even dragged his new girlfriend off to the prime surf spot on
his doorstep in sligo during her recent visit to the Egan family
home. "i was a bit reluctant at first and he was like oh come on give
it a go so i did" says jodie. "now im better than he is! Kian says im
a natural" she laughs "i could kick kians ass at surfing"
Their relationship was only in its infancy when they got caught up in
the media maelstrom surrounding nicky byrnes wedding to georgina in a
paris chateau. but jodi took the press interest in her stride. "2to
be honest i kind of expected it" she reveals."there is a huge amount
of attention when u are associated with such a massive band" " The
wedding was so lovely and we had such a brilliant day that we just
tried to ignore it" " i know the girls quite well anyway (well
gillian and kerry) and we all get on really really well"
what about wedding bells for kian and jodi? "its still early days but
who knows?" "Marriage is a possibility but i dont wanna jinx it" says
lovestruck jodi.
Jodi hails from Chingford in essex. her father owns an indoor
marketand mooonlights as a black cab driver and her mother is a
playground assistant. she has one older sister kelly(29)

The way she talks, she seems quite sweet ^_^ hope she really is, but it all seems very nice and they have fun B)
