Mark's Special Thank-You For a Male Fan
After being handed a belated birthday card by a young male fan,
Westlife's Mark Feehily gave a special thank-you -- a kiss on the
cheek.
Mark explains, "I liked the card he made for me, and you know, we
kiss girls all the time, so I thought, why not?"
Onlookers may have been surprised, but for the 17-year-old fan from
Belfast named Dillon, it surely was an unforgettable moment.
"We all cheered after Mark reached up and gave him a quick kiss on
the cheek. You should've seen the poor lad blush, but it was all a
bit of fun," said bandmate Nicky.
And for those who raise an eyebrow at the thought of Mark kissing a
guy? "There's rumours about us all the time, so that's nothing new.
The point is, we appreciate all our fans -- male and female, young
and old."
Unfortunately, this reporter's own request for a kiss was declined.
"We don't give 'em away for free, you know," Kian explained. Oh well,
maybe next time, lads...
