Title: Chaos Dwarves the forgoten army...
LordCheez - November 3, 2003 09:46 PM (GMT)
i know much about this army and have wanted to collect one. I have seen people with these armies and i wonder why does GW neglect chaos dwarves? They fit in well with the fluff of warhammer and should be honored with at least an artical in the chronicals and some new models actually sold at a GW store. Anyone elses opinions on this?

I'd really like to know about Chaos Dwarves, and like the Wood Elves, there are many people patiently awaiting this book. GW really doesn't care about their fans at all. So many people want that WE book, and they announce the Ogre Kingdom and Kislevites (Different part of Empire, could have been done next year). It disappoints me, it truly does.

Well, Kislev is more of a mini-list, really. As to the Ogre Kingdoms, though, I completely agree-Wood Elves should've come first.

I heard that the reason they couldn't get the Wood Elves out fast enough was because they wanted the core units to have good cloaks, but also be customizable. They couldn't figure it out soon enough, so they decided to do Kislev and Ogre Kingdoms, I think. That's what I heard at least.

thats really dumb if its true i mean its a cloak and its not the end of the world i could figure it out in a week tops. I think they just want people to start other armies in anticipation then when WE come out a lot of people will buy them.

Um, have you thought about the fact that the (seperate) cloak would have to look in place on every model, and that the models would have to look decent without it, too? I really think you're underestimating the difficulty
" think they just want people to start other armies in anticipation then when WE come out a lot of people will buy them."
So they want people to spend their limited money on a different army so that, when WE come out, they don't have enough to start it? Again, I don't think you really thought this through.

I think that they should make an army out of them because they're a big enough team they're enemy could be the dwarfs you can understand that. and then they could copy some of the dwarf machines.
