If you made your own custom army, what would be the stats, the equipment, the rules and the appropriate cost of the basic troopers?

Mine would be:

Cost: 12 points.
Unit size: 10+
Equipment: Hand weapon, spear, heavy armor and shield.
Options:
-Musician for +6 points.
-Standard bearer for +12 points.
-Champion for +12 points.
-May carry a magical banner worth up to 25 points.
Rules: --

I like elite close combat armies.
