In anticipation of the upcoming High Elves and in the knowledge that the wide majority of the models aren't being updated & that the chance of selling them on ebay is slim to nothing...

...I have begun to paint the models I have. I will also start wood elves, only much later (sorry if this has wasted your advice). Also, I'd like to apologise to LordChiliPepa, it seems I don't need to advertise now.

Anyway, here is my first complete unit, 15 High Elf Spearmen with full command, all comments are welcome :)

Please note that the colour scheme comes from the short fluff I have written for my HE army.

my suggestion- use either a chestnut or flesh wash on the golden metal to really bring out the deminsions of it- it'll give them a lot more depth. Heck, use it on the flesh and the wood too, while your at it...

Just make sure to dilute it first!
