Title: Pimpin'
Description: ...no, not women. Get away, ye dogs!

Yo. Uh. How ya doin'? Look, I'll be clear, here: I'm pimpin' m'self and my writing. Some of you know I maintain a LiveJournal. I imagine that none of you care, 'cept for a lone Dwarven King who knows who he is. That doesn't particularly worry me, not in and of itself.

But, I've been writing a little lately. Writing a lot, rather. It's rather disconcerting, actually, not to mention frustrating. I hop interstate for a few weeks, pack all my role-playing and reference materials in a box, and suddenly get strong writing urges. Very annoying.

At any rate, I figure I might as well point you lot in the direction of these written words. [Link takes you to the "wordsketchin'" tag, but the entire journal is open if you want to read other stuff.] I LOVE criticism, and would infinitely rather receive a "this bit doesn't really work" than a "neat, awesome!," especially if some hints or suggestions are added.

["Neat, awesome!"s won't be turned away, mind.]

There isn't much Warhammer stuff up there, except from last years "Wordsketch Request Week," but there are some role-playing campaign seeds for those of you interested in that sort of thing. Besides, you get all the Warhammer fiction you'll ever need right here, with LordChilipepa's RPG campaigns, yeah?

Anywho. Doesn't hurt to point people my way.

Oh, and for those interested in my book reviews, there are quite a few on the backburner. I just finished Pratchett's Thud and Herbert's Dune, as well as the entire Hornblower collection. Not to mention all the books read before I moved...there's a list somewhere on my home computer, when I get it back....

*toddles off*

My initial reaction upon reading the title was 'Gah! Gangsta!' followed by an urge to throw various holy symbols at you and run away. However, that obviously isn't the case so everything is...

Gah! Emo!

Seriously though, I'll give it a look-over. I generally find your reviews quite interesting and you're able to present your opinions in a clear and eloquent fashion (even if I don't always agree with them). I'm not exactly a massive fan of pen and paper role-playing mind, but I'd be interested in seeing what kind of idea you've come-up with (and offering my infuriatingly nit-picking, perfectionist criticism to it, since you asked so nicely).

Ha! I maintain a LJ because half my friends do, and the 'friends' system is a convenient way to aggregate RSS feeds that things like Blogger lack.

But, yes, oftentimes the sheer wankery of it all becomes a bit much.
