Title: 100 GOBLINS
Description: for @ztech

Here's my hundred goblins. It did take a long time to paint them. I did 5 then something else more enjoyable (like a boar boy) thn did another 5... and so on.

I finished them over a year ago and still do not want to paint another goblin for a long time! lol; but the end result was worth it. They fill up the battle field well and look good,

Some very nice stuff ... and I know how monotonous painting goblins is. They look great.

very nice indeed.

*gasp*

Even for characters, I don't take so much trouble painting. That's really impressive. Did you actually paint all those shields one by one?...

I'm glad to see you're not subject to the amateurish "red blade syndrome"...

What's the "red blade syndrome"?

Painting blood on every single blade or spearhead in your entire army.

It really gets on my nerves. Probably because I'm such a neat-freak...

As opposed to 5th Edition Red Everything Syndrome, where the natural colour of wood, metal, warpstone, gems, bone, horns and possibly the sky was assumed to be red.

Its worse than that. yes all the shields are hand painted, but the 50 with handweapons were all converted! cos, plastic gobbos only came with spears or bows, so I had to invent different blades and cludgeons etc!

lol

Burp!

Yeah, that's the problem I have with the gobbos. All sixty (huge number, no?) of mine are made with spears, but come seventh edition I rarely use the spears any more, going instead for HW&S. My brother and I are pretty lax in terms of WYSIWYG (ie, we don't follow it at all), so it's not really a problem, but I'd still prefer to have some models actually armed with hand weapons. How did you convert the hand weapons?

I'll take some more photos tomorrow and show you ;o)
