A friend of mine has been ambushing his chaos hounds and rerolling failed leadership tests saying that all units in his army have the mark of C Undivided. (Dragon ogres, shaggot, hounds, do they all have it?)

Can any one post a list of units that dont have it, i know chaos spawns dont

Hounds do not, I know that much for sure. Unless someone here can say, you should ask to take a look at his book, unless it says that they start with the Mark, then they dont have it at all.

The unit must have marks as options, in that case they have the mark of chaos undivided as default, so warriors, knights, shaggoths etc have it. Beastherds, hounds and marauders cant take marks to start with so they do not have the mark of chaos undivided either. Hope that clears things out a bit :).

The bigger beasties (Bestigors i think) have the mark of undivided to. and so do chariots of chaos.

Basically, only something that CAN take a mark may have mark of Undivided.

All Chaos Characters, regardless of being mortal/beast/daemon have it.
Chaos Warriors have it.
Chaos Knights have it.
Mortal Chariots have it. (but not beast chariots)
Minotaurs may have it if and only if the general has mark of undivided. Otherwise, they either have to have no mark at all, or the same mark as the general.
Bestigors may have it for free, but don't, I believe, have it by default.


That's it, I believe, for a standard Chaos army. Hounds do not get it, Marauders and marauder horsemen do not, beast herds do not, dragon ogres do not, not even ordinary Shaggoths have it, only those bought as Lord choices do. No R&F daemon has mark of undivided either. Hell, they don't have "marks" per ce at all. (notice you don't get power dice for units of screamers, say, or dispel dice for units of flesh hounds).

So all in all, it's a pretty limited list of units that can be Undivided. Everything else has no mark whatsoever.
