Title: Favorite Music Video

KingTut - May 13, 2007 03:43 PM (GMT)
I was bored and decided to punch in some of my favorite bands into the youtube search feature. I found a lot more then i expected.
Anyway since I am utterly facinated by this video I decided it might be nice to see what favorite music videos the other members have.

Anyway
mine (for the moment) is

Tool - Parabola

Lord of Nonsensical Crap - May 13, 2007 08:35 PM (GMT)

Benedictus - May 14, 2007 02:35 AM (GMT)
This is assuredly my favourite.

Tyrion - May 14, 2007 02:54 PM (GMT)
Metallica - Master of puppets

Live version with a instrumental intro before the actual song (to live is to die from the justice record). One of my favorite performances of the song :).

KingTut - May 14, 2007 07:12 PM (GMT)
Heres one that made me smile

Devin Townsend Band- Vampira

Lord of Nonsensical Crap - May 15, 2007 02:53 PM (GMT)

Weird Al Yankovic- White and Nerdy

The Cranberries- Zombie (Well, alright, it's more the song than the video)

That song nearly made me sick it's so good.

Thank you for bringing it into my life.

Benedictus - May 15, 2007 10:46 PM (GMT)
Tssch. Kids these days, never having heard of The Cranberries.

Thragka - May 16, 2007 02:10 PM (GMT)
Tssch. Non-Irish people these days, never having heard of The Cranberries.

@ztech - May 16, 2007 02:33 PM (GMT)
I had never heard of the Cranberries. :ph43r:

The song is pretty good.

Everybody will have heard of them by the time the world is ours. It's not George Bush you need to be scared of, it's Bertie Ahern.

AAAGH! I knew it! I knew U2 were secretly the vanguard of an Irish takeover attempt!

Seriously, though, it's not surprising that few people have heard of the Cranberries, since most other Irish bands have been eclipsed by U2's fame. Which is a pity, because the Cranberries, Elvis Costello and the Pogues all easily outdo U2 in terms of sheer awesomeness.

You're right, U2 do tend to be known as "the" Irish band. Elvis Costello might have better publicity were it not for the racism controversy and the Pogues if MacGowan wasn't such an alcoholic. Then again, I don't know, maybe they'd be less popular.

Racism controversy? What was that all about?

He reffered to both James Brown and Ray Charles as ######s. This was ages ago, back in the 70s, and he was drunk at the time, but it still didn't help his career.

EDIT: Ah, yes, swear filters. N.i.g.g.e.r.s

Heres a old favorite of mine

EDIT: Ah, yes, swear filters. N.i.g.g.e.r.s Wow, that's just plain stupid. You don't say the N word ever, ESPECIALLY in reference to legends like James Brown or Ray Charles.
