Another Picture

I like the look of pretty much everything!

Very nice. I already have a wizard on foot and on a horse but the new models make me itch to buy another wizard, i was thinking to buy a helblaster for summer but the decision is made now, that is a most definately do you know if the models will be reduced in price? or how effective the rocket launcher is ? i may just build one for the comedic value. Flagellents are cool too but i dont see a place for them in the army i envision.

I can't really judge miniatures by their sprue. I need to see'em assembled, preferrably painted. So I can't really say what I think about it.

A plastic Volley Gun is very nice, though.

From what I can see the flagellant looks pretty good actually :).

(Starts happily thinking about combining Flagellant, Bretonnian Peasant and Imperial Guard plastics to make Inducted Witch Hunter IG or Zealots for Witch Hunter army)

Sweeeet.....

The wizard sprue looks light it might be promising, though I'm going to wait and see what they look like when not put together.

Pity we still having nothing on upcoming High Elf plastics, though...

Excellent idea. ;)

I have a soft spot for witch hunters. Sure, they're ruthless, they're fanatical, they're manipulative, they're sneaky, they're intolerant and they vote for the BNP, but their grim background is pretty cool. And they're not just black and white: though they're sometimes a very dark shade of grey, they're absolutely convinced that they do the right thing. That makes them complex characters.

Correction: they ARE the BNP.

Now start voting, citizen. (Holds gun to @ztech's back).

This post is more to piss off empire players than anything, have a look at a mini that GW decided wouldn't be profitable enough to put into production, even metal (metal minis are cheap to produce)!

Priest

That's right supposedly this mini wont see the light of day!

Tyrion - March 8, 2007 06:43 PM (GMT)
Looks awesome, but that seems to be more of a display miniature rather than a mini used in actual games :). Still looks great!

Benedictus - March 8, 2007 11:14 PM (GMT)
The priest is nice. The blessing of the handgun, less so. But you could easily convert the handgun into something else, making it a much nicer model.

A shame they won't release it.

@ztech - March 9, 2007 01:58 AM (GMT)
Agreed. It's a pretty nice mini. But as Tyrion said, it doesn't look like the kind of mini you could play with. It would just look weird in close combat...

The blessing of the handgun... Weird. I never thought something like a handgun could be "divine". A sword, hammer or shield, maybe. But a handgun... -_-

Tyrion - March 10, 2007 12:53 PM (GMT)
Guess most things can be blessed, even water :). The empire is a very suspicious realm these times with hidden cults and chaos infiltrates to top levels of society etc.

Scaly - March 10, 2007 05:07 PM (GMT)
plus conversions from this mini could be excellent
