Title: LoNC's Lizards

Lord of Nonsensical Crap - February 14, 2007 08:18 PM (GMT)
Hi all. Just because I was suffering from a bit of Khrangar envy, I decided to post some of my Lizardmen models. Enjoy!

Ara-kor (Scar-Veteran/Oldblood)

As you can see, he uses the model of the Temple Guard champion. I excluded the shield and lowered his sword slightly to give the impression of a heavy great weapon.

Originally, this guy was going to be my Oldblood, but since I discovered how useful the gw/JSod combo is for an Oldblood, I decided to use my Ara-kor model instead. Note that he's still WIP-- I've got to lighten the shield and scales, and paint his mouth and spines.

Again, this guy is based on a Temple Guard model. There's still bits of him that need to be touched up, namely his spines and the banner itself (especially the skull).

Not much to say about these guys, save that I intent to get a 4th model (the third model variation, since I only have 2 out of 3 variants). Again, I still need to do their spines and mouths.

Saurus Warriors

These guys were my first painted Saurus regiment (and are currently the best-painted). I'm really pleased by how they turned out, and hopefully my other Saurus units will turn out this good as well.

I'll be posting more of my models later on-- particularly my Skinks, Sacred Saurus, Terradons and Salamanders....just as soon as I do some touching up and re-gluing, that is.

Not bad (coming from the guy who fields grey armies ^_^ ).

The entire army looks very dark and sort of dingy. Not quite the immaculate protectors of the world like they're supposed to be. Or that could just be the way I see them. I especially like the Kroxigor.

Pretty well done. I didn't know (or had forgotten) that you were a talented painter.

But you sure can't keep the teeth and the eyes green or black...

Yeah, as I said, I still have plenty of touching up to do. The only model whose teeth and spines I have actually painted are Ara-kor's (they've been painted Bleached Bone). I need to get new brushes to do detail work with, though: my current brush set has had it.
