Title: Borgut Facebeater WIP

Khrangar - November 25, 2006 11:45 PM (GMT)
Greetings all,

I needed a diversion while painting my Sons of Guilliman and wanted something completely different to keep my motivation going. I decided to go out and buy Borgut Facebeater, both because it's a cool model that I'd have fun painting, and because my D&D group fights a fair number of orcs so I can throw him in as a boss model or something.

Either way, here is my progress thus far:

From what you have done so far, he looks like he will be a great model. I like how clean the paint job is and cant wait to see him finished!

But just one comment, maybe he could look better if his skin was given a lighter drybrush of maybe Snot Green, just to make his skin stand out.... Other than that he looks awesome. ^_^

Very well done. Details are amazing. You should paint the axe and choppa in darker metallic colors like Chainmail, with maybe a little rust on it.

No need to give him a head: what use can an Orc make of that?

The horns on the head have been changed and I am waiting for the GS to dry, being too impatient, I primed him sans head and started painting him.

I want the weapons to look similar to this:

Should I keep the symbols orange or should I go up one more and paint them yellow?

Leave him headless!! Kinda cool that way. Very nice painting skills.

They're very nice in yellow, in my opinion. But that's your choice.
