Title: Exalted Champion of Nurgle
Description: Some thoughts...

whilel on this Warhammer armylist download I can make this Champion of chaos and am wondering if it is a good sneaky choice or an illegal one.
Exalted Champion, mark of Nurgle, book of secrets. 184 points.
As he now is a level one Wizard i opt for the lore of Shadows, for the lovely steed of shadows this a good idea?

well yes of course this is a good idea, not just because of the fact that he counts as a wizard so you get an extra dispel (and power) dice but because steed of shadows can be so useful, effective at charging lone wizards or small skirmishers etc. but not so much at chargin large units as you probably know.
I know many would say the book of secrets isnt brilliant as you miscast twice, but my thinking is if you miscast it's going to be bad anyway so an extra roll on the table wont do much ^_^
Whatever you choose good luck :thumb: , Dan

Seems fine, I always used to think that it was for Slaanesh only, but I checked and it isn't so that gives you the all clear. :D
But I would suggest at least giving him a shield.

Quite a nice list iu have to say, you definately have enough magic defence and you also have taken the golden eye, which no one seems to take (dont know why).
One of the things i often forget is you can combine heros of different marks ^_^ , i keep thinking its only one mark still like it.

your list is illegal. I belive the book says that when you take a marked character you must take at least one unit with the same mark ;) you have marks of nurgle, slaanesh and tzeentch.
you have horrors for the tzeentch character.
you have the nurglins for the nurgle character.
but you dont have any slaanesh units ;)
correct me if im wrong.

I do not have the book at hand but what i will do is find something to replace one of my units for some unit with slaanesh am thinking of ditching the marauders horsemen and taking mounted daemonettes instead what do you think?

Solution I'd take is to lose five Chaos Hounds, split them into three units of five (target saturation!) and give one of the Warrior units the Mark of Slaanesh. That'll solve the legality and the points problem, give you more units to screen/harass with and a fairly decent holding unit to use as well. Hopefully it *is* a legal solution to the problem, I don't have the Chaos book to hand and it's been a fair while since I last cooked up a Chaos list.
Cheers,
