I tried to keep the characters to the minimum, but it's very difficult with a Bretonnian army that has an allied contingent, so I ended up with five of them: a Lord and four Heroes...
The Count Robert will be almost invincible with his 0+ re-rollable armor save and the Lady's Blessing, and he will be a fearsome opponent, especially during challenges. His Questing Vow is only for fluff purposes. The Baron Xavier, the army's BSB, will be a true icon of courage for his unit, thanks to his Virtue of Noble Disdain and the Valorous Standard he carries.
The two Damsels weren't upgraded to Level 2 because they're only there to dispel. I don't even expect them to cast a single spell. They were equiped with Dispel Scrolls and the Chalice of Malfleur, which should give my army a sufficient protection.
The core of my army is the couple of big blocks of Knights of the Realm with full command. They will be sent in the thick of the battle against the enemy's main units and should do most of the job. I also added a few skirmishing archers: they're cheap and expendable, and they might even kill something if they get lucky.
My three Pegasus Knights with Champion and Musician play a support role. They should give the servants of war machines something to think about... The Bretonnian part of the army couldn't be complete without the Trebuchet. I hope I'll have better luck with it because it seems to have a way to blow up during the first turn...

The Wood Elf part of the army is led by Elmarath, a famed Asrai archer who sneaks with his scouts behind enemy lines to rip their ranks apart with his Hail of Doom Arrow. Elmarath's Patrol should give my enemy headaches once they start sniping mages and war machine servants.
The non-scouting unit of Glade Guard was put in the list mainly because you can't have an unit of scouts without having a normal unit of Glade Guard, but they should in addition bring some help to the poor unskilled Bretonnian bowmen.
Finally, the Glade Riders should do their job if they manage to keep hidden from enemy shooting and spells. They will rescue the knights if they get flanked and add a lot of speed to the army.

I'll write fluff for the army very soon.

It'll work.

The Elven units chosen nicely complement the missing elements of a Bretonnian army (reliable foot troops, scouts, fast cav) and the list will be quite effective overall.

But it probably won't win you many friends, using RoR (or in this case Allied Contingents) to patch up an army's weakness tends to make people dislike you for your choices. And since Brets aren't particularly well liked to begin with (at least in my experience) its not helpful.

However, likeability aside, it'll be an effective and versatile list, you should be able to counter most army lists.

I must admit such a list must be cheesy.

I don't see why people don't like them. After all, Brets are one of the most honorable armies of the Warhammer world. They are no sneaky backstabbers like Skaven and Dark Elves or cunning tacticians like High Elves and the Empire. They just charge through...

Just in my experience, I play almost exclusively knights (though I have been known to throw in a trebuchet now and then) and I just happen to be very good at rolling 6+ Wards. I think most of the people at my local GW are getting tired of playing me.

Though I did recently just start a Dark Elf army, so we will see how they like it when I sit back and shoot at them instead.

So am I. My luck at rolling the Lady's Blessing is insane... My opponents truly hate the Lady of the Lake.
