Title: Master of Mortals and Dogs of War

Something I've been puzzling over for a while now; can a Daemon Prince with the master of mortals daemonic gift use dogs of war units in his army? I know it states that daemonic armies can't include DoW units but Master of Mortals states that the daemon will count as mortal for the purposes of choosing an army. So, which rule overides the other? I'm leaning towards that they can take DoW, but I'd like to hear your opinions before I act on it.

They can. It states that they count as a mortal in all ways when picking troops, so you are allowed to take DoW

they just choose not too print it as a daemon army may be unlikely to take mercenries, also too discourage you away a little from mercenries, it's just not fluff correct, but yeah as archaon said ^_^

Why? If I played daemons, I'd be glad to have at least a few expandable troops at hand, or perhaps a couple of ranged weapons. Chaos has a lot of different units, but the general style of fighting stays the same.

yes that is true ^_^ , but what i meant of course was why would a daemon general want to hire some mercanries when he can just bring through the chaos wastes another daemon unit, still it's player preference really of course.
