I'm not a Wood elf player, so I don't know about a fair bit on your list, but looking at the figures i would say that you should streamline your characters a bit, according to my computer's calculator, in total they cost 833pts. That's quite a lot for 4 models. ;) This also shows on your army as you only have around 50 other models on the board (I'm assuming the dryad thing was a typo, if not, you have around 60 models). :)
Hope my outsiders view helped. :)

I'd cut the wardancer and give more combat weapons to the alter guy. You said it yourself: he will rock at taking out characters (give him the annoyance of netlings and a weapon), and he won't be able to do that just by shooting them. In a 2000 point army, the guy you want to be shooting at (the lord) will have 3 wounds, so over a 6 turn game you might kill him. Give him the spear of twilight and he will probably kill his foe in a turn or 2 (so many attacks and initiative). Wardancer heroes just aren't what they were in the previous army list.
Secondly, rethink your own lord. To get a spellcaster lord means you want to be aggressive in your magic. Why give them mostly defensive items? A 6+ ward save isn't worthwhile (if you give your opponents a clear shot at her, that extra save will not keep her alive), while the wand seems a little redundant with all the dispel dice / scrolls in the army. Perhaps replace her items with the Deepwood sphere: which will work well to keep her alive and be a more effective spellcaster (hide her in a forest all game).
With the points you've saved, you can get more archers (glade guard). You don't seem to have enough. That wild Riders unit looks big and menacing, but needs something added to it. Perhaps consider assigning the Alter Kindred guy to it and / or the banner of dwindling. This unit is an obvious target for any helpful spells you can give (regen, wild hunt, and especially ethereality).

Frist i need to make one thing clear i need dispell dice and that is why i take the spellweaver instead of a high born. Second no model with out the forest spirit the hole alter joining the wilde riders if i wanted him to be an assaulter than i would have given him a the wildhunter kindred. he was made to stay away and shoot the and not let the march.

The Spellweaver really should be used (in my opinion) in a magic-heavy list; there are cheaper ways to get extra dispel dice. If magic defense is what you're looking for, consider instead the Branchwraith with Level 1 Wizard and Cluster of Radiants Spite (+1 dispel die); she has the same dispel dice (2) as the Spellweaver and only costs 140 points instead of 368, and adds combat ability to boot. Then you can upgrade either your Wardancer or Alter Kindred hero to Lord, and still save a lot of points.
Because right now, you've got 42% of your army's points in characters, and unless you're getting 10+ power dice or a monster like a Treeman Ancient or Dragon for that price, it seems to me that's just too much.

I agree with what Arioch said about the branchwraith, think about what your doing basicly your useing your one lord choice on dispell dice and a person who can fling par magic at the enemy in a very low scale.
I would really take a highborn or whatever the warrior lords are called with a good bow second I would drop the druids. IMHO you could spend those points on more way watchers another 5 or so and then spend those extra points elsewhere perhaps you could use them and the points you will be saveing on a cheaper lord to get yourself a treeman.

This was more researched and hope that it will work. Also i need to make a point that this will be a tornement list so what do you think?
Tsumaji - December 20, 2005 02:49 AM (GMT)
Well this list I think is a massive improvement...with 2 units of cav this list is fast and those scouts will really help get that flank attack off and "smashing"
you still have a lot of points spent on chars but I think its an acceptable amount just be carful as to what they go up against and remember small units such as the wardancers are best used as flanking where ever possible
uhh when your talking about your noble and you say (replace the alter the reason is the lethal shoot, not with waywatchers)....ya that doesnt make very much sence and it might be nice if you could edit that so it reads a little smoother
Templar - December 20, 2005 05:12 PM (GMT)
I hope the edits I made will help. but about the wardancers I have gone up with a squad of 11chaos worriors and I got the charge and had a hero in the unit that was make for combat. He had a noble in his unit and he kill the hole front rank won combat and they ran got caught and the lose of about 400 point(include hero). so they should not have any porblems with attacking.
Tsumaji - December 20, 2005 06:37 PM (GMT)
First off I still have no idea what yoru saying with your Noble and his alter someing about a turkey shoot? I would appriciate if you could put that in better grammer next I would also appreciate if you could read over your posts before posting them to make sure that they make sence becuase as for your post above this one...well it is also very hard to read and make sence out of.
