Hi all,
I'm just getting back into WH after a 10 year absence. I have a number of old models and such and I understand there is a new ruleset available as well. Can someone please post a really nice 1000pt Bret army for me? (you know with all the units and accessories and such) By this I mean a proven formula so that I can start with the models I have and add new ones that I may not.
Thanks in advance.
Best,
-Onyyx
PS: I will also post such a request in the HE forum but if any of you have a nice 1000pt HE army to share I would love to see it.

This makes a fast army: a lot of cavalry and skirmishers. It also permits to use both the close combat skills of the knights and the shooting ability of the peasants. The knights also help the peasants to stay and fight (Peasant's Duty rule). I put only Knights of the Realm because Knights Errant are not worth it in my opinion. I found Grail Knights a little expensive for a 1000-pts army. Mounted yeomen, as fast cavalry, are always useful to rush wherever needed to protect the vulnerable flanks of the knights in lance formation while killing a few enemies with their bow fire.
I fully equipped the characters because they're very important to a Bretonnian army. The general will be a fearsome fighter and his foes will find it difficult to bring him down (1+ re-rollable armor save). The BSB, leading a little unit of knights, will be excellent to go hunting archers, crossbowmen, war machines and such, in addition to being able to keep the knights from fleeing if they lose a combat. Finally, the Damsel was equipped for defense since Bretonnians are crappy in magical offense in my opinion.
Hope this helped :thumb: May the Lady be with you.
