The first is why there are no assassins in any of the lists ive seen they are good and i think they are good.

Second is there a list that uses wizards and assulting with some back up shooting.(reaper bolt thrower cross bow men)

hi, they're are three alternativer lists available for the dark elves, these are the City Guard army (mainly defensive with lots of bolthrowers and a fair amont of crosbowmen), the watchtower patrol list (uses a fair few dark riders), and the cult of slannesh(a few new units plus the chance to use some chaos warriors and knights)

many choose not to use assasins as they are a little risky a tad bit too costly IMO, from experiance of using skaven assasins they cost too much and often pop out and do an extra wound or two, still it's down to personal experiance and preference.

they're arent many lists here that use wizards ;) , i dont often look under DE but that's fairly surpirsing, no you could just make one as Dark elves have nasty wizrds and spells so if you want take one, or two or even 3 :rolleyes: .
