Hi guys and girls,

recently i played Bretonians and my opponent used to my surprise, 4 characters (2 paladins and 2 ladies- spellcasters) now i may be wrong but can anyone tell me if this is incorrect? it seems a bit odd, plus my opponent hasn't played for a while, he said that Brets have to have a BSB but does that mean they can have an extra hero choice???

if i'm wrong i will eat some humble pie but please help me out ^_^

Yes, they do get an extra character choice. Hope you're hungry. ;)

They pay the points cost for the character and his equipment and whatnot, but they do essentially get 1 more character because of this. So 4 at >2000, 5 at 2000 and so on.

After all, Bretonnia is the land of heroes...

But it can be frustrating in small 1000- pts games to be forced to have that BSB. In addition to that, you need your army general and at least a damsel for magical defense, so it comes expensive.
