hi everyone I am a warhammer newbie just start like 1/2 year ago. I have been reading this forum for sometimes and really give me some ideas however i have been losing and drawing like 10 games .

this is my latest list for a 2000pt army. I am having a tournment at the end of this year. Can some of the old tomb kings here give me some clue and tactic advise will be well apprecated.

tombking - flail of skulls , golden ankrha , light armor
3 tomb priests -dispel scroll , heretic jar , staff of ravening.

the next list is a 1200pts . will also be use in the tournament.

Firstly, your 2000 points list is really unclear, and you're using wrong names.

But from what it looks like, it's not good.

Firstly, NEVER use spearmen with Tk, you want the hw/shield combo as they are sponges, and always make them at least 20 a unit.

I also rather take a LHP+TP+lp, this gives me more points to spend, and a much bigger magic advantage.

Bone giants are also better traded for 3 ushabti from what I played.
(Adn screaming skulls are just much,much better)

I also don't like tomb guard personnaly, as skelletons can do the same job for less. (sponging)

So I suggest to rehearse your char's, throw out the bone giant, tomb guard and spearmen, and put in 20 or more hw/shield+la skellies, 1 more screaming skull, 3 ushabti, and trade 1 Tomb scorpion for 3 carrion.

What's left can be spend on more skellies with bow bloacks or to fill out your other units.

For list 2, as before throw out the spearmen, and throw in 20 hw/shield skellies.

Light cavalry also doesn't the trick, as you can't flee with them.

I'd also throw out 1 TS, and put in 3 carrion, and with the left points, another LP.

[COLOR=red]seems ok but y r u taking the flail of skulls?u wanna challenge someone? u wanna smash chariots? basically i forsee the ur  king will not be able to utilise this weapojn much as he is on foot and will rarely enter combat. however to mount him on a chariot will bring abt changes in ur chariot unit...so reconsider

where r u going to hide them? in ur inmanuveurable infantry blocks...they will die easily to sucidal chargers

i see that u wanna use the skeletons personally i rather ley ur spear block be bigger . ur archers can be fewer since they got no static combat res and die easily.  However if i had change ur list i will take a large archer unit w full command and do away with the spears. one unit, dual functions...save points

the problem is that will so many lich priest on foot its difficult for all to be able to cast spells on this model. a bone giant is quite weak when nt charging...mabbe ushabti is better

basically i can tell that u have no problem  choosing the units but rather ur units dun seem to be able to fight well as one. there is clearly a fast element and a slow element...yet ur lich ppriest walk to slowly(and thus no range) to make ur magic work
