DEPLOYMENTIntroWell this is a very difficult battle. Cause I was alone and I was facing 2 orc armies. That means I was facing 8 special choices, 6 rare and so on! For that reason I asked my oponets if I can use one more ballista in my army and they let me do it. If you want to see the resolution you can see it at the end of the report.

You can see how we deployed our armies. When I first saw how much more they was. I’ve been afraid that probably I did something wrong at my army but never do not underestimate the power of the little ones! From the beginning a lot of thinks showed me that it will be a bright day for our army! At the beginning we throw the dice to see which one will play first. Well everyone knows that it is very important for a dwarf player to win this first dice. So I did it. : ).
Dwarf 1st Turn
I just move a little bit my warriors with great weapons. My strategy was to place them between the farm and woods to make a surprise attack to anyone come near. With our Greek history I learned that it is very basic to control this kind of small openings.
After that the troll slayers (with the deamon slayer in the regiment) moved just 3 inches and also the thunderes to get also the option to shoot. Also I moved the Ironbreakers 3 inches too
At my first shooting face I decide to do nothing with the flame canons since my enemy was too far! So first my stone thrower shoots between the chucka 1 and doomdiver. The shoot moved at the center of the chucka 1 and partially I hit also the doom diver. I was lucky on that. Booth war machines were destroyed by this single shot! : ) Next my ballista shot at the black orcs straight ahead and do one kill. The cannons target the goblins near the black orcs and do 8 hits.
My crossbows and thunderes hit at the orc bows and hill only 2 !
Afer that I give the turn to my enemy.
Orc 1st Turn
The orc army starts the animosity saves and lost the regiment of goblins 1 and they just stayed at their place.
They move as you can see at the diagram of turn 1
Magic phase
The orc shaman cast the Gaze of Norg against dwarf cannon. My dispel was not got do stop it but its power was to weak to make a scratch against canon.
Shooting phase.
The remaining chukka 2 try to hit and chukka 3 try to hit iron breakers and they didn’t do anything. Chukka 4 try to hit troll slayers but nothing also happen.
The orc bows don’t shoot since they march.

Dwarf 2nd Turn
The only move I did is to march my warriors with Great Weapons more closer to the gap of woods and farm. Then I proceed to my shooting Phase
Shooting Phase.
With the stone thrower I try to shoot at the orc regiment and I failed and the ball hit at an empty space in front of them.
The ballista target the black orcs and I manage to kill two of them!
The canon try its best against goblins that march against it to release the fanatics. I knew that something was probably hidden in this regiment. I kill 6 goblins.
My thunders knew that it was the best option to make the wolfend riders flee and they did it by killing 2 of them and the leadership check was failure. The flee end in the woods. It was pitty that no other goblins was near to make them check their poor leadership.
The croosbow dwarves manage to kill one more orc warrion in front of them.
Now was the big time for the flames to lead the way of my great, great army.
Flame cannon 1 hit the orc bows and kill only two! Pity.
Flame cannon 2 target the orc warriors in front of them and manage to make 4 kills
Flame cannon 3 hit the night goblins and it manages to make 10 kills! And one more unite to lost its leadership check and flee away!
That was a good turn. I manage good kills and 2 units of my big (in number) enemy. The game so far was very good for me.
Orcs 2nd Turn.
How they move you can check it at the diagram of turn 2. The one matter that count most and must be mentioned was that the wolf riders second regiment charge against my canon
At this turn Orcs did nothing on magic phase cause they think better since I learned that they didn’t got to much spells to do something I will use all my dispel dices (6) against their first spell.
So they proceed at shooting.
The orc bows don’t move so to shoot at this turn. They target my thunderes so they didn’t manage to make not a single wound.
Chukka 2 and 3 failed to hit iron breakers but chucka 4 kill two of my precious troll slayers. Pity but it was sure that some of my warriors would met their ancestors.
Close combat.
The wolf riders against Cannon were the only close combat so far. They didn’t manage to do any damage and me neither at my fight back. At the combat resolution was against me with -7!! My cannon leave the table and they make charge in to a fresh enemy and that was my ballista and they destroy it!
That was a difficult turn for dwarves since two of my war machines was destroyed! But the poor orcs don’t know what the powerful dwarf mind was hiding. :)

Dwarf 3rd Turn
You can see how the regiments moved at the diagram of turn 3. The one I must mention was that the troll slayer regiment move to meet some time the black orcs, but behind them left the daemon slayer that he charge alone the wolf riders from their rear.
At the movement I move a few inches my warriors with great weapons regiment a bit to be a little back to bee seen from Big Boss.
Shooting phase
At the shooting phase I try my best.
Flame cannon 2 kill 11 goblins from the Goblins regiment straight ahead and make them too flee so you can see at the diagram of turn 3 they returned at their position at turn 2.
Flame cannon 1 one target and kill only one orc bow!
With my Flame cannon 3 I just kill 2 black orcs that will try to charge slayers.
My great thunderes destroy completely the boar chariot in front o them.
With my stone thrower my luck leave me. I try to hit the savage orc before they will charge (they charge me at their movement phase) but the ball returned and kill one of my own great weapons dwarves.
Close Combat.
At close combat the daemon slayer appear to be one of the greatest option (not every time but only if you know where and how you will use it.) cause alone manage to destroy some of the wolf riders and make the rest flee out of the table.
Orcs 3rd Turn
The orc players tried to rally the fleeing goblins but they lost their opportunity
At their movement the black orcs failed to charge the troll slayers but their chariot charge their flank. The orc bows charge with a lot of nerve my iron breakers.
Shooting Phase.
Chukka 1 and 2 failed to shoot anythink but the 3rd kill one of my fire wall 2 crew.
The wolf riders make their first shot and they just killed me on of my thunderers.
Close combat phase
First we short out the chariot. Chariot charge impact hits cause me 4 wounds on my troll slayers and 1 cause me the attacks of the boars. The crew didn’t do anything.
Then the orc bows didn’t manage to hit any of my iron guys! So I was ready to fight back and I destroy them.
Now the savage orcs vs my warriors with great weapons manage to kill 2 of my dwarves and at the fight back I killed 5 savage orcs.

Dwarves 4th Turn
At this turn Great White Dwarf appear the green orcs and goblins trembled at his appearance and he move to the chariot flanks

Shooting Phase
My crossbow and my thunderers kill 2 orc warriors each but they save their leadership check.
My Flame cannon 1 failed to hit the savage orc boar boys at his left.
The flame cannon 2 don’t fire since moved and flame cannon 3 kill 5 black orcs that they saved their leadership check too.
The stone thrower misfire so it will not been able to hit this or the next turn.
At close combat I didn’t do anything and my opponents win their leadership checks when they check them.
So I gave my turn to my opponent.
Orcs 4th Turn
One more unite of goblins left us. At this movement phase one wrong move has been made by my opponents. The wolf riders charge at my thunderers and they stand and shoot against them and destroy the unit just too simple.
The orcs charged to my warriors and the black orc war big boss charged in their flank.
The savage orc boar boys charged against my flame thrower .
Shooting phase
Chukka 1 failed to hit anything
Chukka 2 failed also
And chukka 3 kill one more crew at my flame cannon 2
Close combat
Boar Chariot vs Troll Slayers Dwarves win the initiative failed and they was the only regiment that manage to make 2 wounds against the chariot at the fight back the combat resolution was a tie.
At the orcs vs warriors with hand weapons hit 2 but my armor save rescue my warriors. At my fight back the runesmith that was part of the regiment kill one orc and the rest of the orcs kill 1 more. At the combat resolution lost and they also lost the leadership check so they flee and for one inch I didn’t manage to destroy them.
The savage boar boys vs flame thrower 1 the flame thrower leave the battle and the crossbow dwarves lost their leadership so flee but don’t leave the table.
The charged Big Boar Boss hit one ironbreaker but I saved him with the armor save.
I didn’t hit anyone and the battle was a tie.
The warriors with the great weapons against the savage orcs received 1 hit by their veteran and my runelord kill one savage and the same did the rest of the group.

Dwarf Turn 5
At the rallying I saved my crossbows
The white dwarf charged against the chariot and the deamon slayer did the same.
Also my warriors with h/w charged the fleeing orc warriors
At my shooting my flame thrower 3 miss fire and it just malfunction and wasn’t able to hit this and the next turn.
My Flame thrower 2 failed to hit its target.
Close combat
The warriors destroy the orc warriors
The white dwarfs manage to hit one wound at the chariot and the daemon slayer did the same. So the rest slayers has easy situation to destroy the unit.
No the BB(big boss) killed one ironbreaker
At the fight back I didn’t manage to do anything and so I lost the combat. But my rune of courage didn’t leave any fear option at my ironbreakers.
Now at the combat of Savage orcs vs Warriors with G/W. There my runelord kill 2 orcs. The savage kill 3 warriors and my remaining warriors kill 1 more savage.
Since I won this battle I lap around them! : )
Orc Turn 5
The Black Orcs at last charge at my Flame cannon 3
The Savage Orc Boar Boys Charge at my Crossbows. My crossbows stand and shoot but they failed all of their attacks!!!
Shooting Phase
Chucka 1 Chucka 3 hit my warriors in front of them and they just kill 3 warriors total.
Close Combat.
Well this was very important close combat for me.
The black orcs against flame cannon 3 manage to kill one crew and I Fight back to kill one more of the black orcs (lucky ha?) they Combat resolution was Tie so we continue.
At Savage orc boar boys vs crossbow I lost one dwarf and I lost the battle and my dwarves left the battleground. The savage orc charge in to a fresh enemy and that was my stone thrower and kill one crew but I saved their leadership check.
The Big Boar Boss vs Ironbreakers kill one Iron guy and the rest of the orc warriors regiment kill one more. My Dwarves fight back and kill 2 orcs. That was the time I lost this battle. But since my courage rune nothing happen.
At the Warriors with G/W vs Savage orcs. The orcs make 2 hits. I saved one by armor and the other died in combat. And I killed one more in my fight back.
That was ok so far. One more turn and we will see the winner!

Dwarf Turn 6
I didn’t move almost anything special I just move them to win the places I control

Shooting.
My thunderers shoot at the poor incapable to do anything in this battle Grimgor and his black orcs and kill 6 of them. It was pity that they don’t roll any Leadership checks… : )

Flame cannon 3 vs the one remaining Black orc.
Nothing happen here.
At the battle of Stone Thrower vs Savage Boar Boys, my stone thrower destroyed by the filthy orcs.
Big Boar Boss vs. Iron Breakers
The Big Boar Boss kill one Iron guy and I returned him 2 wounds but he saved one.
The rest of my ironbreakers killed 3 orcs and at the fight back I didn’t get any wound.
Savage orcs vs. Dwarf warriors with G/W
There my runelord killed one savage. The savage orc do 0 wound to me and I destroy the remaining regiment.
Orcs Turn 6.
At moving phase he choose to charge Orc Boar Boys at the flanks of my Warriors with G/w since this was the first time they find empty space to proceed. Since there was no meaning to do something like that.
Shooting phase
Chukka 1: did -3 wounds to my warriors with hand weapons
Chukka 2: did -2 wound to the same regiment
Chukka 3 : did -2 wound to the same regiment and I saved my leadership check. That was very, very important to control that part of the table!
Close combat
At Close combat even the dice was getting bored of this winning and the total of wounds was nothing except that one wound was taken by runelord from the charged boar boys.

Well that was a great battle.
The score is
Dwarves scored 2598 – Orcs and Goblins scored 1140
The difference is 1458
That means I make a Solid victory. And as the book says: YOU HAVE DEFEATED THE FOE. HISTORY WILL REMEMBER YOUR ENDEAVOUR’S TODAY
