Ill be using it for conflict next year so i have plenty of time to playtest with it. I wasnt sure about the exe's, i was wondering about another unit of DR with rxbs. My magic should be a very strong phase and my shooting is a little weaker, but satisfying. The army lacks war machine hunters so i will have to rely on my magic quite a lot. The CC phase isnt too strong but the noble should be useful as should the Cok and exes. Im not sure if ive spent enough on the cok, would a champ be useful. The chariots are my main hard hitters though and should be greatly useful.
What do you think?

I like it. :D It has decent magic ( I would say just above average, don't get above yourself now ^_^ ), hefty shooting and OK combat; it's very flexible.

What I would do is probably do is (as you said) drop the executioneers for another dark rider unit and possibly upgrade the CoK unit with either a standard or champion both are double edged swords. Champions being declared in challenges or being directed at and standards 100VP extra should they die.

Just a question, what do you intend to do with the CoK, I would have suggested a flanking force/protector as as you said, you haven't really invested enough points in them to go steamrolling down the centre of the board.

Also, how many points (exactly) is this list, e.g. 1499 or 1501 as they can be very picky if you're over and if you're under you might have some room for manouevre as it were.

Actually, how's this for an idea, drop the exe. for some harpies, that way you might have enough points for shields on your crossbow unit and fit in another scroll on Sophia?

Overrall, good solid list, just tell us your tactics.

Just above average? The Cheek! I can only get another level 2 mage to make it as magic as possible! 2 L2 mages and a bound spell is just above average.

I made sure it was 1498pts under the 1500pts allowed.

You seem to hate executioners on both your suggestions they seem to be being dropped from the team.

Tactics, well the army is a counter-attacking force so ill either hang back against OK, O+G, Chaos and the like, or advance against armies like Dwarves and Empire.
The magic people blast the enemy, the shooting people shoot and when the enemy arrive i counter attack.

Ill consider what you've said and will post another reply when ive thought about it.

Yep. I believe two mages and a bound spell or two is about average :P , that's what i was going to bring and the majority of people here took. The third mage would make it magic heavy what with 9/10 PD and a few bound spells but unless it's 2000pt skaven I don't trust magic that much.

That's because when I have seen them been played, no offense but they don't tend to do much and when a tenth of your army isn't active, it's not good, I'd replace them with the harpies so you don't have to rely on magic to dispose enemy warmachines as well.

Just a suggestion, for deployment you could put the two rbt's on a hill with the rxb's in front, so long as they have shields they'll hold against warmachine hunters (e.g. skirmishers). As said before, I'd put the CoK on one flank and a dark rider unit the other side, spearmen advance a bit centre with a chariot each side for the counter attack; that would be my thought.

Ah ha! But i now know how to use executioners, i admit that when i first had them I wasnt too good with them. Now i am much better, with the help of shadow magic (unseen lurker and the one that only allows them to be hit on 6's) there chances of getting to the enemy in more or less one piece and doing some damage has been greatly increased.
Anyway if i swapped the exes for harpies i would still have about 80pts left to spend and not much other than core to spend it on.

Well basically tht is the deployment plan, however i never rely on hills because more often than not, there are none. <_<

Keep those replies coming. Is omid the only person who replies?

Nice, solid list. Keep it up, all I can say I would change is the seal of ghrond, you dont really need it in a 1.5k game especially if you already have a dispell scroll and 2 lvl 2's.
