OK, I have no intention of collecting OK in the near future but not all future is near and plus I am purchasing a unit (the big twist) at Games day.
Bruiser: Ogre Club; ; Heavy Armour; Additional Hand Weapon; Greedy Fist 162
Butcher : Hand Weapon; ; Dispel Scroll(x2) 180
Bulls: 3 Ogre Club; Hand Weapon; ; Light Armour; Additional Hand Weapon; Musician 136
Bulls: 3 Ogre Club; Hand Weapon; ; Additional Hand Weapon; Musician 127
Bulls: 3 Ogre Club; Hand Weapon; ; Additional Hand Weapon; Musician 127
Ironguts: 4 Great Weapon; Heavy Armour; ; Standard Bearer; Champion; Musician 242
Gnoblar Fighters: 25 Hand Weapon; Sharp Stuff; 50
Gnoblar Trappers: 8 Hand Weapon; Sharp Stuff; 48
Yhetees: 3 Yhetee Ice Weapon; 195
And finally....
2 rhinox riders: hvy armour, musician 225
tot 1491
sorry for the strange layout it was a copy+paste from the great unclean one, but what do you think eh? I have still a way to go with ogres but it can't be that bad, can it? my plan is to literally put the rhinox riders down the middle, because with T5 and a 3+ and like 5 wounds each they should last long enough. also, I like bulls, I don't see why people go for more of them as they should last and with four attacks each they are not to be messed with. Any thoughts?
EDIT: Also where the rules of rhinox riders are in WD309, where does it say they are official because it would ultimately suck if they were not.

I like this list, its good and reliable i'd like to point a few things out though
1.the additional hand weapons aren' as useful has ironfists but unless u just want to be pumping out those attacks then its fine
2. 25 gnoblars won't last long , i'd recoment 30 + as they fall like flies and need their numbers to hold out.
apart from that it seems fine, funky with the rhunox riders, might be prime targets for ranged weaponry so watch out !!

thank you for your kind comments. :)
1. that is exactly what the additional hand weapons are there for. for me, these ogres have to have a lot of attacks because hitting on 4's with 9 attacks isn't enough, I need 12 for a real punch. I wasn't too sure what the ironfists did so I left them out, if I have enough points I'll put them into the light armoured ogre unit.
2. I figured the gnoblars where cannon fodder ; either just blocking line of site, bulking up the ranks or merely table quarters holders for victory points, I never really thought of them as a "legit" unit before.
Any more opinions?

well ironfists are sort of like extra hand weapons - you can ether use them as an extra hand weapon OR use them as a shield but not at the same time, thats why u can see quite a few people always gettng iron fists, their dam good :D

cool, cool ^_^
After games day and the enjoyment of building the regular bulls (one with each rhinox set) I think ogres may well be a NEAR future army; just a few questions:
as said, where are the official rules for the rhinox riders; I know that they are in WD and on the forge world site but neither states that they are official.
Also, is there anywhere which shows (on the internet) a map of the whole (warhammer) world including where the ogres came from as i was reading an old white dwarf saying that ogres pick up things from different cultures; I was just thinking which culture my clan could come from, should I collect an ogre army.
More comments on the list as well, I figure something's just not right with it. :(

I there omid, if the rules came out in the WD doesn't it means that they are official? i always thought so, and have seen in various places that certain rules are official from the moment that they appear in WD.
I live in Portugal and here the WD is different so i was wondering if you could pm me or email me with their rules cause i hadn't got the opportunity to see them. (i got the rules from the forge world but i've heard that there are new options that aren't stated there)
As for your list the only thing i have to say is that you're consumig too many points in the rhinoxs... you could field a slavegiant (as one of the most versatil units in the army for me) and you could field in another things with the left over points! (a wyrdstone necklace for some ward save or something) For the rest i think it's ok... in such small points battle bulls are the ones to take, and definitely take ironfists cause they are worth the points!
Hope i could help and thanks in advance...

well i got the rules off the latest australian white dwarf september addition dunno the number. Mind you the ogres come from the east they say a commit hit earth and thats the maw and they think they came from that. something like that.

I spent too much points on the rhinoxes? I did try to keep their stuff pretty minimalistic, but the heavy armour just screamed TAKE ME!!! for the 3+ save against shooting, I might drop the musician though, I just don't want them to flee of the board you see.
I might try to make anothert list on the GUO tonight but I doubt I'd have time. If so, I might try to put ironfists on the bulls with light armour, that's probably where the butcher will go.

OK, sorry for the double post but here be my updated list but it may have to change as I foolishly glued on additional h/ws to my two ogre bulls instead of ironfists but I can downgrade that unit and toss in an extra gnoblar trapper if need be.
here it is:
Bruiser: Ogre Club; ; Heavy Armour; Additional Hand Weapon; Greedy Fist- 162
Butcher: Hand Weapon; ; Dispel Scroll(x2)- 180
3 Bulls: Ogre Club; Hand Weapon; ; Light Armour; Musician; Ironfist- 139
3 Bulls: Ogre Club; Hand Weapon; ; Light Armour; Musician; Ironfist- 139
3 Bulls: Ogre Club; Hand Weapon; ; Light Armour; Musician; Ironfist- 139
20 gnoblar fighters: Hand Weapon; Sharp Stuff- 40
8 Gnoblar Trappers: Hand Weapon; Sharp Stuff- 48
4 Ironguts: Great Weapon; Heavy Armour; ; Standard Bearer; Champion; Musician- 242
3 Yhetees: Yhetee Ice Weapon- 195
2 ogre rhinox riders: heavy armour- 212
total 1496pts
As said before, slightly changed, that being the ogres are better equipped in general, with the ironfists their for extra flexibility. I might drop the ironfists on one unit for additional h/w s and just plonk them on the flank, the yhetees on the other. I figured the rest of the army would steamroll straight down the centre, they could manage it quite easily, two rhinox riders, 4 ironguts, 2 units of three bulls and well; 20 gnoblars (thay could take on anything :P ). No, actually the gnoblars are there for numbers and I had 40pts left. The great thing about gnoblars as it might be plausible to use the extra ones off the ogre sprues for the odd strange sized unit; but I doubt it as this will probably be a showcase army for me, i.e. a WYSIWYG army, all bulls done up to an impecible standard and plenty of conversions. Now I just need to think of some more conversions..........
