Title: DARK FOREST
Description: hmmm.... :-)

Just a teaser.
A taster of work in progress

All sculptures are done in plasticene, miliput and stone

When the original is finished I make a rubber latex mould

And once I have the mould then I can mass produce as many replicas as I like

in either 'Stone Powder' or 'Resin'

Which I can then sell on line.
:D

Cooooooooooooooooooooooool
What are the orcs doing there though :P Why are they alive and not heaped on the roots of a tree which will digest them for all eternity?

Urhm, wow? Yeah, I think that's the word. I've said it so over and over so many times to myself over the past ten seconds it's kinda lost it's meaning. Great stuff as always Burp. Fave being the twisted bog roots.
And Swordsalot, I'm pretty sure they're there for a sense of scale.

 Dude, I look forward to painting it!! Any idea what sort of price you're thinking of Burp?

Still figuring out materials suppliers...there are a lot of 'middle men' out there and I am trying to avoid them and get to the source, to get things cheaper.
At the moment there are two types of material. Resin and Stone Powder; stone powder is similar to plaster but much tougher and less chalky (but still slightly chalky... it'd be ok for big lump type castings, say the 'Oak of Ages' or a model house. But small castings really need to be resin (so that they are resistant to breaking.)
At the moment, I am guessing, that the Oak of Ages in Resin would probably be at least £15 (plus postage) but in Stone Powder it would probably be as little as £5 (plus postage)
The bog root trees would probably be just about £3 each in resin (and would be too fragile to cast in Stone powder...the 'Oak of Ages' is ok for stone powder because it is so thick it would be difficult to break unless you threw it at the floor!)
So, I'm still figuring things out... Obviously I want to earn some good money but I also want to keep it as affordable as possible so that I have lots of customers... dont want to be too expensive but I still need to figure out suppliers etc.
I'll keep posting any new news.

They're looking really great Burp! I'll probably be a customer once you get up and running. You're quite the terrain-making visonary. ;)
