Sorry if this should be in OT Owaria, but I was wondering specifically about Skaven for DnD in this one.
I've been running a DnD campaign that leans heavily on Warhammer, and I was wondering what Racial mods Skaven should have. I was thinking of a minus to strength and charisma, with a bonus to dex and intelligence.
Also thinking of giving them a fort save bonus, lowlight vision, and landspeed 40.
Any ideas?
The abillity mods look good, and so does the lowlight and 40 base speed. I wouldn't put the fort save though. If they are npc or encounters, i wouldn't make them very powerfull. They are very weak in the game so.... But if you need a bigger challange, you can make some rules for a ratling gun, globiteirs, engeneers, plauge monks, and rat ogers.
It’s a shame I binned my guide for skaven in dnd last week.
What I used was low-light vision, increase in dex, decrease in strength and charisma and improved initiative. As the average skaven in 5ft tall he is most likely going to be weaker than the average human. The improved initiative was because I could imagine skaven needing to be very quick and very agile in the tunnels with your best friend most likely turning on you because you had more warpstone than him.
And as for monsters, ogres do pretty well for rat ogres, just make it that they fight with 2 claws doing D6 damage and a bite of D4.
But this was 2/3 years ago so I may not be the best person to go by, and I'm not the skaven mod, but I don't mind it being in here, although it should most likely be in off topic, its not exactly something I will chop your nads off for ;).
