What blood line do you gys use??

this has been covered in the past..alot. but strigoi works very well for me :) I like the models and the way they play and they have very good bloodline powers, something they make more use of that other bloodlines since strigoi cant take other magical equipment. so strigoi for me ^_^

I like the Blood dragons more, because they can kill good (strigoi better), but they have a good armour save and that is what i miss about the strigoi, cause a 5+/6+ ward save doesn't work for me.
I haven't really tried all blood lines so i cant really say much, i play Blood dragons and Strigoi a lot, im trying to play with lahmians now.
But my list in bloodlines is like this:
1. Blood dragons
2. Strigoi
3. Von Carstein
4. Lahmian
5. Necharch

A Necharch doesn't do it for me, its good in magic, but i use necros, and they dont kill good. So I dont use Necharchs.

I think vonC is a solid choice as they can allow all within 18" to march and that is HUGE. and also you can kit a thrall with wolfform flayed hauberk and a great weapon, quite cheap and sneaky character...

2. Necrarch
3. Von Carstein/ Strigoi
4. Lahimian

Well i mainly play Blood Dragon but sometimes paly Necrarch to magic my friends to death heh and von carstein and strigoi i like too for their fluff and stuff, not a fan of the lahmians.....

I like Von Carstein the most because its the most flexible and I like the style most.

Then comes Blood Dragons - their fighting power is plainly awesome.

Like Blood Dragons, Strigoi have crazy combat stuff, but they are too limited for my taste (no magic or mundane items, no mounts.)


I prefer being able to use versatile and flexible strategies more than to merely charge forward and hope that the sheer power of the vampires will be strong enough (like with BD and Strigoi).


Necrarch I havent used yet, though I will soon and I think they sound interesting.

Same applies to Lahmia.

Necrarch are flexible but the most powerful one is Strigoi, BD lack magic and can be neutralised, Carsteins either lack magic defence or are wiishy washy and lamians just don't do it. I'd either go for Necrarch or Strigoi but those are the 2 bloodlines I use now.

Yeah, we may have already discussed a while ago, but its interesting to see if people opinions have change over the last few months and also newer players can add to it and not be accused of necromancy.
