ok i know that i have already done this but i need help making a 2000 point list
i am getting the box set but do not know what to get after i was going for a balanced list more artillary and shooting though and i could use some help thanx

Hard to say really. Empire is a very versatile army. Do you want a lot of shooting? Do you want mainly knights? Or large blocks of infantry? You can do it all. Id decide which style of play appeals most to you and get the appropriate models first.

Personally i would start by building up a solid core. e.g 20 spearmen 12 hand gunners 8 knights, cannon, 20 great swords, mortar and a hellblaster. You can then swap war machines about and add detachments of hand gunners in and free companys unless you want to go for the stupid amounts of champions with hochland long rifles approach. :P
