Ok i was bored so i decided to write a colourful (well....quite colourful) backdrop to my army. Enjoy!

Born in the year 732BS (Before Sigmar, for those un-nerdy people who dont know the entire history of the warhammer world) about 2000 years after the sundering. Jaresh was the son of Lord Kharan, a rich and powerful noble from naggarond. He was brought up in the traditional manner of the Dark Elf nobility, until his most of his family were killed on Witch Night (see Warhammer Armies: Dark Elves). Being a proper Dark Elf, Jaresh didn't mourn for his families passing, he took advantage of it. He dispatched Venom, his trusty assasin to dispatch his cousin Ranacul who was eying Jaresh's new found fortune. Jaresh also took command of his fathers meagre forces and turned them into a proper Dark Elf army. After restoring his family's pride he set of to make his move for glory.
He marched to the city of Karond Kar in order to find a ship suited to his needs. Jaresh "bought" a ship off Kaleth Blackheart who hadn't seemed to keen on the idea at first, but as there wasn't much of him left soon after, the ship was Jaresh's anyway.
Over the years, Jaresh sailed over many oceans and as a result fought countless battles and took many slaves. After one battle he took 5000 Estalian mercenary prisoners back to Naggaroth. Jaresh was also instrumental in the routing of the Cathayan forces as he became supreme commander of the Witch King's "expedition" to Naggaroth.
He also traveled to the isle of Albion where he discovered the sword of power, a magical sword of phenominal power which can cleave through armour as if it were air. He won many battles on this mysterious isle and took for his own the Fortress of Doom where he has remained, keeping the Witch King a foothold on the island. However a new threat has emerged from below, the Skaven under the command of Bulzebulb have entered the Dark elf held lands of Albion and for this they must be punished. Jaresh will see that this is done.....
