Greetings fellow vampire, this list seems reasonable but i'd like to point some things out =

1. your ghoul unit, i'd break this into 2 units of 5 or 6 as the psychological factor comes into it and well ghouls are most likely goign to run away so 10 would be a waste of victory points and such and 6 will be less cassualties and all

2. your grave guard are awfully small and i would seriously increase their size to 22 + or something. or else they'll take lots of casualties from misle fire and also wont last as long in cc

3. Your army seems quite small, i'd probably drop the vampire lord and change it to a count because points are precious in 2000pts and vc are need a lot of heros to be good so i'd get a count, wight lord to lead the graveguard and the 2 necros seem good

hope i helped :D

thanks for the advice i will post a re write in 2 days or so when i have time. i like the idea of a bigger grave guard unit but i will be scraping for points, would it be wise to drop the banshee as the main battles i play are against Tomb Kings, High Elf, Hordes, and Dwarfs which all have higher Ld and Imune to psyc.

I guess you could drop the banshee but lets clarify if thier effective for the following
high elves, tomb kings - high leader ship, low armour = not that great
hordes, dwarves - high armour, high leader ship = can be of use as banshees are good for taking out thos rotten heavy armoured ******.

so i guess it would be a good choice to banish the banshee (pun intended) and then try and invest in some dire wolves or increase your big blocks of infantry.

Hey Rolfie, if I know you, I don't think you have touched a study book these hols, cept for maybe physics mate, lol...

In my honest opinion, I don't like the list that much... the unit size of the graveguard means that they shouldonly be in effect good with the tactics such as flanking.. The only thing that which will draw the opponents attention when they think, "crap thats going to hurt", will be the black knights...

You will find that against such normal players as elves, undead and chaos, that they will be tempted to greatly reduce that number so as when you hit the line the unit will be dwindling to near below unit strength.

Ok, IMO I would chuck out the thrall and use those points towards buffing up the unit of grave guard, to around 20-25, and chuck out 5 of the ghouls and build up the unit of zombies to around 20 as well as at thier current state I predict that they will loose combat each turn, and hence continually loose zombies....

Anyway hope it has helped rolfie, can't wait to vs this list :ph43r: lol
