I'm not actually thinking about starting a Zombie Pirate army, but I still decided to take a crack at the army list. Here's what I came up with:

Vampire Fleet Captain-Lucky Levi's Hook Hand, light armour, Bloody Bill's Buckler (joins 1st unit of Deckhands)
Vampire Fleet Captain- Bloody Nora, light armour, Slann Gold (joins 2nd unit of Deckhands)
Vampire Fleet Captain- light armour, battle standard bearer, Dead Man's Chest (joins 1st unit of Gunners)

I personally don't like zombie pirate gunnery mobbers with brace of pistols, for the following reason. Pistols are very short ranged weapon, getting a maximum of two turns of shooting before the enemies in combat, at which you can't stand and shoot (it says you must stand and hold).

I like the idea with the cannon but for firepower you HAVE to have Queen Bess (note this is my opinion and I am exaggerating a little) because wherever the cannon ball lands it does a template! :D How cool is that. (note, I am not experienced with cannons so it may apply with all cannons, I dunno.)

I very much like the bloated corpses, it may be overkill (pun) but lookis interesting. I don't know why but I always seem to include a syreen and how many points of equipment does your second VFC captain have? I don't remember a weapon at 15 pts. Anyways sounds cool, I may just post a list up as well (new thread) see if they are worth collecting.

The pistols aren't there for shootign: they're there to be used in close combat (especialy since the Dead Man's Chest accompanies the unit, giving each Zombie 3 S4 attacks in the first round of combat. :D )

No . . . just NO. It has a short range, and it is next to useless against foes with high leadership.

The problem with Queen Bess is that (1) it costs a lot, and (2) there's no guaruntee that the template will hit, since cannons have a tendency to either overshoot or just plow straight through a unit. Getting the template right on an enemy unit will be tricky.

Your 1st and 2nd fleet captains are over points. Drop the hook hand and bloody Nora.

Just ignore his posts, as obviously he has no real life..... anyway zombie pirates ARHHHH, lol at our local games worshop the manager was painting some, and he just let loose an ARHHH, we have been doing it even since lol ^_^
