For my upcoming peasant army I was thinking of having some handgunners, however the detatchment boxes are unavailable in GW where I live. So I was thinking of using the free company with blunderbusses. Any ideas for me.

Sweet B) . I'm not sure if you will get enough blunderbusses (sp?) in yo' sprues. In fact that may be something you wanna check out. But if that works, rock on. The Empire handgunners come off a little static anyway, although I'm CRAZY about those awesome Spanish frills they have going on...

This is EVERY chaos dwarf's main problem. The blunderbusses on that sprue work great, and are great bitz, but the problem is that you only get 1 on a sprue for abote $6U.S. So for ten of them you'd spend $60U.S.
If you want to spend that money, go for it, theyre great bitz, but if you dont, Im not sure what you should do

The thing is I'm not just using the sprues for the blunderbusses. Its a peasant army so free company with the rest of the models.

well then i suppose if youre buying the sprues for other parts as well, go ahead! its just not worth 6 bucks if you're just getting the BB's out of it

I did dwarf thunderers using the militia sprues. IMO yhey don't all have to wield blunderbusses, some with pistols is alright, as long as they are bristling with firearms.
You were building a peasant army, right? Wouldn't you have tons of milita sprues then?
