Which would you choose
Warlord or Grey Seer
Im wonderin wat to use in my army.
Im leanin towards Warlord as Magic seems quite complicated and Warlord is cheaper which suits Skaven and is a decent fighter.
wat do you think

to answer your question i will need some more info, such as what clan are you collecting (if any specific one), what do you have in your army and what armies do you usually play. at the moment i would say that the grey seer is better on the whole as he has options open to him of different magic to what skaven can normally have (after a while warp lightning can get a little boring)
just post a bit more and i will be glad to help ^_^

I always take a grey seer as first lord choice and warlord only if I am allowed a second.
This is mainly because I play magic heavy armies so I like having a completely cowardly commander which hide in the back and fry the enemies with warp lightning...

depends on the enemy high magic resistant armys like khorne magic would be less use for example
its relly just a case of preference do you prefer magic that takes up alot of points or a good cheap fighter

don't forget dwarf armies <_< they have high Magic resitance, not as much as khorne but still quite a bit ^_^

Actually, skaven magic usually does get through. For example, in 1000pts, with one warlock engineer, i usually got warplightning cast in most turns.
Anyway, I would pretty much always use a grey seer, mainly because its refreshing to cast something other than a form of warplightning or bands of power.

someone who follows my line of thinking ^_^ . many will argue and will probally be right that a warlord is a tad bit bettter overall than a grey seer but i like using one for new, fun, magic rather than are old reliable warp lightning "not another 1 on my number of shots  "
still go for grey seers they add a bit more punch to your force and can quite happily make your army far more flexible, such as casting death frenzy on a unit of slaves who are opposite a fear causing enemy, they won'y beat them but they sure can charge them. *slightly going of topic* in this situatuion like the example i have used, remember to reming your opponent slaves are leadership 2 when they move so they will get ready for a charge next turn, then cast death frenzy on the slaves, no fear test :D
hope you now know which to choose globadier ^_^
