Title: Buying dwarfs
Description: maybe

So I have a couple of questions for you dwarfish types(no offense to short people who drink beer and have beards). ^_^
What are the rules on doomseekers and the goblin hewer? Are they any good? I really like the models but I dont want a slayer army so I thought about using them in my potential dwarf army but I want to know what dwarfs are all about first. Any answers would be great.
p.s. what is everyones favorite special unit and why?
thanks

You can't use Doomseekers in a non-Slayer force, so those aren't even an option. The Goblin Hewer can be taken as a Dogs of War choice, and you should be able to find the rules for it in the SoC downloads on the GW site - either look around there for them, or hunt through some of the older topics here for a direct link.

The goblin hewer is like a bolt thrower. You must use your bs to hit and hits d3 wounds per rank.So if the enemy unit has 25 models in 5 ranks you are able to hit 5 d3 wounds. Now my favorite unit is 24 hammerers with A dwarf lord.Combining stuborn of the hammerers and the fighting ability of the lord and runic banner which makes them imune to phycology, i think is the best unit in a dwarf army.
Also i like the backround of the hammerers;Ready to give their live for protection of their general.

Umm... not possible. Stubborn is a psychology ability, if you are Immue to Psychology you loose the stubborn ability. Tis one or the other.

What? I didn't knew that.We always playing like this.I mean frenzy from a mark and a banner which makes me imune to psycology.

Nope. If you're immune to psychology, you're immune to all psychology, positive or negative. If you want an immune to psych banner, put it on Ironbreakers - they're probably a better choice for it anyway.

Men, this is so bad...But there are some exeptions aren't they.I think there are i don't remeber where i found them but i am sure there are.

Pretty sure there's no exceptions, aside from what's noted in the rulebook (frenzied units being immune to all non-frenzy psych, for example). If something becomes immune to psychology, it loses any psych-related bonuses or negatives it would otherwise have.
Oh, there was one exception that I can think of - in the Cult of Pleasure list, the Immune to Psych banner doesn't remove Cold One stupidity. That's the only one I can think of at the moment, and it's stated specifically in the rules of the relevent item.

WEs don't loose hatred but are frenzied. There are a few but these state in the rules of the unit, Hammerer's are stubborn. If they have the RoCourage they're no longer stubborn.
