Seems very themed and has what I think to be the best combination of units. It's less still shooty without suffering the weakness of SAD (easy to panic), has duellists to guard flanks (good Ld, top skirmishers), horde-ish numbers and ranks and a fantastic hammer unit (Monks that I can shoot at using life is cheap since they get the 4+ ward save).

Ikit Claw gives me a good supporting selection of spells that vary depending on the opponent although I usually use Heavens or Shadow. With 2nd sign it's much more reliable than a normal Skaven list.

How is that not a SAD, and how is it a balanced list? Firstly its got a special character and thus is illegal in most tournies and most people won't play you. Seconly its hiddeously unbalanced, unfun and with the DOW its OTT.

I don't like the list, and I wouldn't play against it. Yoou won't make any friends using it, and could well earn yourself a black eye or two in the process.

i think that is a very good all round list that can take on all comers and you will have a great time, ooh yeah you might not be able to use ikit claw in tournaments but who cares warhammer is a game to play against a group of mates so unless they are sad they won't stop you.

In my gaming group(s) it is strictly no SPs. They aren't fun. Once one person uses one the next person uses a better one and so on and so untill it becomes all about who has the most powerful Character. Contrary to what GW have to say SPs aren't balanced and make for unbalanced and unfun games. Most people just simpley won't agree to SPs and quite rightly so.

well does that mean your gaming group didn't play the storm of chaos which featured Archaon, one of the most powerful characters? anyway please try to post about the topic rasputin and not of topic, i.e say what you think but then provide some suggestions rather than just saying the person will get a black eye which many players will not do considering it's a tabletop game

When I mean all-round I mean a list that is competitive. It does not have to be fair. All it has to do is be able to beat all opponents on a reliable basis. Overdosing on SAD stuff tends to leave you with low numbers and a big vulnerability to panic, misfires and miscasts.

The really successful GT lists in the UK tend to use a combination of Gutter Runners to march-block/warmachine hunt so that shooting with WLCs and Ratlings can take place. A typical list would be:

Warlock, Full Gear, Storm Daemon, Dispel Scroll
Warlock, Full Gear, 2 Dispel Scrolls
Warlock, Full Gear, 2 Dispel Scrolls
1 unit of 3 Rat Swarms
4 units of 25 Clanrats, Full Command, Ratling Gun
4 units of 20 Clanrat Slaves
2 units of 5 Gutter Runners, Tunneling Team, 2 Poisoned HWs
2 Warp Lighning Cannons
