i am collecting skaven at the moment and have 1000pts of the vermin and was thinking of getting some maneaters as DOW and was ready to go and buy them only to fing out that they take up 2 rare slots. so i am going to settle with another unit, what would you recomend as i am unsure, i was thinking of bulls for 1500pts or would it be best for me to just wait to the 2000pt mark?

I would personally like to see your skaven list so I know if you already have enough vermin. There is no point in getting a big expensive unit for a horde army for their not to be enough models for a horde.

I wouldn't have thought DOW would be a good idea for a 1500pt skaven horde and I would recommend to use ogres in 2000pt. (N.B. this is assuming you have a small amount of models.)

P.S. I swear on my honour that warlock engineers can not forget the warplightning spell. It just wouldn't make sense. (Sorry to other members, this is irrelevant)

Well without knowing your list i recoment 6 irongutsfull comand and a magical banner.But are you sure about them?I mean i play with skaven and you don't need to use DoW.

this is all i have at the moment and i have been unsure on what to buy for 1500pts and have went through all the options: plague monks+ stormvermin come in blisters therefore too dear to buy and Plague censer bearers have to be bought with them (may buy some plastic PM for lustria campaign), rat ogres have new model coming out, clanrats i have painted too many (80 models :blink: ), WLC is in my opinion ineffective in this small games, not enough targets), and the other stuff i am unsure on.

so with this list do you believe that bulls can help me?

EDIT: ooh yeah i also really wanna paint some ogres as they are sweet models ^_^

As i said you don't need ogres.This army is good but i recoment to put desolade blade to the assasin.
