I was thinking on calling my chapter ANGELS OF RESURECTION

I was wondering what to get first after codex I want to get in the battle soon but cheaper i was thinking of starting with an champion and acombat squad and then scouts

Well for a viable force you need 2x troops choise and a Hq to start with.

Personally i would go with 2 basic tactical squads and the Space Marine Commander box to make up the basic requirements.

While scouts are a nice cheep tactical alternative the models themselfs are all metal, a B*tch to convert and more expensive to get a full 10 man squad of them. Your talking £20 for a 10 man squad compared to £18 for the space marine tactical box.

(on a side note i think you should get your stuff from e-bay or some other well known 2nd hand retailer cos £18 for a basic troops box is freaking insane).

but on the assumption that your talking buying direct from a GW your talking 2x£18 + £8 = £44

although if you want to go a bit cheeper you can get a metal captain for your force for £6 instead of the £8

For what your going to pay your probably best getting the Battle force as it works out slightly cheeper than buying all the models on there own and would give you a basic tank + command squad to game with. At the cost of having only 1 full tactical squad and a 5 man combat squad.

The next important thing is to decide on what kind of space marine force you want to make and most importantly the paint job for them.
