I was looking though the book and thought about a Gorger army here it is tell me what you think

Before I offer some generally harsh crtisms of the list I would liek to know what you are thinking with this list and what you are trying to do. Too me it looks like your not quite sure...

your Units are waaaaaayyyyyy to large.Plus,you need to split that gorger unit up.
Plus,skrag is unsupporeted in his magic,he'll be useless on his own.

Frist off i am not thinking of anything all the great and the 8 gorgers are not a unit.

just thought it would be cool to have 8 of them and thats about it if it is bad then plz just say it is not good thank you

You made a list without thinking about it at all? Well I think that is your problem. If you make a list without any throught of its purpose or strategy then it simpley isn't going to work...

Well as far as my armys go i make the list thin i think of the "strategy" and it works most of the time its how i make armys and am i one of the few ppl left who play cuz the game is fun and not just to win? ? ?

I dont know Ogres, Ive never even seen the army book <_< . I'll try to give some help using basic warhammer knowledge ^_^


First, Id make your Bull units smaller. 3 or 4 are enough. If you have more in a unit they wont be striking in combat anyway which would be a waste.

Then, having three big gnoblar units is a bit overdone.The size is ok (though I prefer having 35 and setting them up in a 7x5 formation), but one or two are enough.

I dont know about the specifics of a gorger army, like what hero choices you can take, so theres not a lot more I can comment on.

However, I noticed you have no missile fire at all in your list, which is a real problem, because your army is rather slow and if your enemy goes shooty, you will get shot to bits without being able to react. You've got plenty of combat units, so you can turn at least two of them into shooty units.

Actually, Funky, the gnoblars have the Mighty Strength 2 Sharp Stuff Of Death. :P

I agree with Funky about the unit sizes. With M6 Ogres, lots of small units are the way to go IMO, especially if you're going Gorger heavy. I'd divide them all into units of 3, with a bellower in each.

Also, I think units of 38 gnoblars are a bit overkill. It doesn't matter if they panic, so I'd take as many units of 20 as possible. That way, more can shoot, and if the unit runs you don't lose so many. No-one in their right mind would shoot at gnoblars in an army containing ogres, so you should still have full ranks when you arrive in combat.

I don't think your friends'll be too happy about you using that many gorgers, but with Skrag it's in character anyway. Let us know how it goes. :thumb:

Ardath doesn't want help. He just wants a yes or no answer. See his VC list thread for an exact example. Don't waste your time being helpful, nor asking him what his tactics are. All he wants is to know is it good or not. No help, just a yes or no.
