Title: DoW Expansion, Winter Assult

For those of you who dont know Dawn of War has an expansion planned for release in the autum titles "winter assult" and will include at least one new playable side, the imperial gaurd. They get baneblades.

then you did not follow my instructions on what to do, read it carefully and try again.
there is a screen shot of 3 baneblades at the bottom of the page, scroll down till you find it.

yea they will be implimenting the imperial guard...this game is sweet and I play it online frequently as eldar.

Anyone have any idea how powerful the baneblades will be? And will they require a relic?

as there the Ig "uber" unit they will most definatly require a relic to build the thing, although my understanding of how it will work will be that it will be very shooty but have relativly weak armour. Relativly probably means way stronger than a rhino but not as thick as it is in 40k.
I would guess somewhere below where the Landraiders armour is just now, although the shear amount of firepower its gonna be unable to unleash will be crazy, soemthing like 14 guns on it.

Just somethign to add aobut the races ive heard that there also gonna be adding nids to it and mayb even tau or Dark eldar.
But all i got to so say its a shame for me cus i cant paly it on my comp cus i aint got t and l

the game designers want to eventually add in all the races in the 40k universe to DoW, there will however only be the IG in this expansion sadly.
I got it to run on my computer and its below the min spec for the game although it lags like crazy on 6 or more player maps.

its out now obviously and you have to fight necrons in the last mission, (there is also 4 alternate endings!)

yup, played it and all i can say is thank goodness for the titan backup on that last mission...
...damn necrons.
