Hey as the description says I am just wanting to get everyones opinion on this list. This is kinda an all takers list and for me feels very skavenish. This I heard would also do well in an RT because its all core and themed. Let me know what you think and how you would make a horde list (specifically for a RT as well).

I know this is laced with cheese (5ratling guns :P ) and lacks heavy hitters but its all core and its around 242 wounds on the table and no chance for a flank charge. Strategy wise its a little bland but its awesome to see someones face when they say they are done setting up and you still have 100+ models left. :lol: Against heavy hitters I just try and use the life is cheap rule and kill myself and them and just win in walking combat resolution and flank charges. My warlord is just there for wounds on rank and file and as a leadership bubble in the middle and when coupled with my BSB I actually have leadership 10 slaves with a reroll. Its fun and just an idea and seriously, how often do you get 2000pts exactly. :clap:

Can you fit 9 5x5 infantry blocks in your deployment zone? It would be very hard to manouver too, a full on cavalry charge or an extremely shooty army would have a field day. I would like to see the look on your face against 4 great cannons/mortars, and 2 hellblasters/steam tanks. Plus a pile of handgunners and a couple engineers.

That is also gonna cost a sh!tload of money, thats like 15 plastic box sets, for one extremely ugly, boring to paint army, that is likely to lose you all your friends.

well essentially I had about half of what was needed and then a friend gave me the rest since he started playing more with lizzies and VC so all I had to do is buy one box of clanrats and I was good to go. I have a friend who has empire and yeah it sucks since he really cant miss but its still fun and in a GT most people wont go to such an extreme and take an army designed against this.

I normally dont take this army but when it comes to themeing an army then this is my choice. I have also experimented with 'rat spears' (i.e. giant rats at smallest unit size allowed) and use them as fast flankers but they panic and then panic my entire army but it has some potential. If I find a proper way to use them then I will lose 25 CR's and 25 slaves and throw in giant rats but I want to stay all core.

aginst a fear or terror causing enemy you are screwed. I would love to fly a skink preist with cloak of feathers and storm of kronos into your battleline, :lol:

if you really really wanted to make it hordy, drop the junk on your warlord...give him a great weap or a halbred if you love initiative. Drop spears on half your CR's and maybe a rattling or two. Use the extra points to buy more swarms and then load up on globadiers and giant rat....did you call them spears?.... I know this isn't pure horde-esque but even the lowliest of clans has the basic skryre and moulder troops, heck, fluff-wise if you can afford 2 engineers you can definitly afford 10 globes. Possibly some warpfire too....but the chances it hitting your own men and causing massive panic might be something to take into consideration
