i wasnt planning on taking gnoblars but then i had 50 points left over and well, im used to things costing a minimum of 11 so i was pretty happy when i took 25 for 50...
Seems like a solid list. I prefer not to have one big unit as the "sledgehammer" of the army, but there's nothing particularly wrong with it. I just don't agree with paying an extra 100+ points for only +1 S on a bull charge and a better chance of outnumbering. That big unit could be divided into two smaller ones which I think would be more points-effective.
Are you planning on having the Bruiser in a unit?
I'd try to find a way to get bellowers for the smaller ogre units. They're not getting any ranks or a standard, so the musician would really help for combat res.
I think, from my limited experience, this is a failry limited list.
First, I do not like the way you have your character kitted out. It does not look like he is in a unit, which limits the MR. Also, with a save of 4+, he will maybe have a 6+save vs most magic weapons, ifyou are lucky. Sool for mage hunting, but if you are in b2b wiht a mgae, it's dead anyway.
Second, you core choices... think about this. Naked bulls are 35 pts, have 3 atttacks and impact. No save, WS3, and Ld7. Ironguts... have a AS, have str 6, have 3 attacks, and mpact, and a LD OF 8! This is a huge difference, and well worth looking into. You can carve up a lot more infanty with they do not get a save with GW....
As Goblit says 129 pts for +1 str on the charge... scary. The only advantage to this is that it is harder to loose 2 models required for a panic check :D These guys are 2 pts cheaper than Ironguts, consider what I said before.
Belchers = Good. Gnoblars = great. Just look into your choices/unit sizes a little more!
actually i just realised that ive kitted out my bruiser the same way i have him in my 2k list.
in that i expect him to be taking on a few tzeench lords.
i think ill edit it a bit.
