Like... EVERYTHING. From Jazzails to Globadiers, lots of skaven get through armor easily and thats all you need.

I seriously doubt it's that easy.

I'm a Bretonnian player, and I will tell you that you really just need to hug the terrain and have a lot of specialty attackers (jezzails, globadiers, warlocks with warp lightning), out magic and out shoot him and you will open him up easily, just don't let him get into a position where he can actually fight you.

I play a pure cav HE army.... I have yet to loose to skaven, and they are my primary opponent.
I will tell you what scares me. Ratling guns (1 MAYBE 2), and warp lightning (2 engg). Other than that, the PP with BoP and a flail is NASTY against cav. Ranked units do work if you know how to trap properly, unfortunately this will rarely be the case =/ Swarms are a good idea, since you can initiate a charge with CR. You deserpately need CR from YOU charging to be effective with rank and file troops.

Anything that dissalows armour saves or has such a high strength to make a significant dent in armour quickly becomes your friend when fighting vastly mounted armies (especially Bretonnia!!).
Again, create a tar-pit combat (provided that your unit isn't destroyed on the charge!) and flank/rear with other units.
And it may sound obvious, but shoot shoot and charge him. If the Bretonnian boys get the charge in, they will be wiping skaven blood off of their shiny (and pointy  ) lances for a while. If they are charged, lances are made useless.

Angry Priest

I only have 1000pts max of skaven currently, but I have the perfect anti cavalry army. Clan Skryre. I advise warlock engineers, jezzails, globadiers, weapon teams, cannons if possible, clanrats with spears. Also, although they aren't skryre, nightrunners can be pesky behind enemy lines in the second turn. :fight:
