I know that many of you are tired of this kind of post but still i could use the advise of fellow skaven genrals
so here it is:

Clan Liskit (Clan Skyre)

Heroes
51: Chieftain Skritt: heavy Armour, Hand weapon, Shield

95: Warlock Engineer: Warp- blades, upgraded warp energy condenser, warpstone amulet, (1 warpstone token)

Core
250: 30 Clanrats: Full Command, hand weapons, light armour, shields, Warpfire thrower

235: 30 Clanrats: Full Command, hand weapons, light armour, shields, Ratling Gun.

58: 28 slaves: hand weapons

120: 6 Jezzails: hand weapon, jeazzail, pavise

Special
100: Warp lightning cannon

90: 3 Giant rat packs: (3+ 18)

999pts

i am buying this force (i have brought 2 clanrat boxes, a warpfire thrower, ratling gun, and warlord so far) i think this is a solid force and i was just wondering if anybody has any advice before i go out spending? thanks in advance :thumb:

the only thing i dont like is the giant rats. I'm not really a fan of them, but its really just how you prefer to play. If i were in your shoes, i would probably recomend dropping the giant rats and getting spears for your clanrats (60 pts) and then get 3 globitars for 30 pts.

You should maybe think about getting more clanrats and slaves, but if you are planning on getting giant rats get LOTS hey maybe when you want a 1500 pt army get more cannons and jezzails ^_^

i will change my army then as follows:

Clan Liskit (Clan Skyre)

Heroes
51: Chieftain Skritt: heavy Armour, Hand weapon, Shield

95: Warlock Engineer: Warp- blades, upgraded warp energy condenser, warpstone amulet, (1 warpstone amulet)

Core
280: 30 Clanrats: Full Command, spears, light armour, shields, Warpfire thrower

235: 30 Clanrats: Full Command, hand weapons, light armour, shields, Ratling Gun.

58: 28 slaves: hand weapons

120: 6 Jezzails: hand weapon, jeazzail, pavise

30: 3 Poisoned wind globadiers: hand weapons and poisoned wind globes

30: 3 Poisoned wind globadiers: hand weapons and poisoned wind globes

Special
100: Warp lightning cannon

999pts

( i would of given all the clanrats spears but i have already assembled 20 without spears so i will keep them as a "go and get em" unit)

Looks good to me.

I decree that you need to take that army out for a spin and see what it can tackle.
(Maybe just using cardboard to signify the units and facing a friend would be a good idea ney?) ^_^

I suggest the same thing as Lazy, get some battles before you buy your force. This will save you time, money, and frustration. I do not like units of 30 in 1k pts. You do not have neough units on the board and will easily be flanked, therefore negating the CR from outnumber. If I were you I would take unit os 20, max, in 1k. Most infantry run 16 at 1k, so even 20 should outnumber. 3 units of 20 seem much safer than 2 of 30. WLC is also overkill, since you won't likey be able to draw a straight line over a whole bunch of theri models like you can in 2k+.

It's all in your feel though :) I fyou like it, go for it!

ANd I LOVE Giant rats. They are DAMNED handy :D

if i took out my Warp lightining cannon would you think it would be better if i buy either:
more globadiers
more clanrats/ slaves
or possibly another warlock engineer

any suggestions welcome?
